St Patrick's Rugby Club, also known as St Pats, is a rugby union club based in Strathfield, New South Wales. The club, formerly known as St Patrick's Old Boys, currently field six teams in the first division of the NSW Suburban competition, known as "Subbies". St Pats was formed in 1964 and has been a leading club in the NSW Suburban competition since its inception. The club was formed by ex-stude

nts of St Patrick's College, Strathfield but now has members from various backgrounds including a number of international players.

Our 2026 campaign reaches its climax this weekend at Concord Oval as Colts & 4th Grade hunt for premiership glory!

An incredible amount of effort, commitment and expertise from a huge number of people has been required to get us to this point.

From our first training session on 29 January 2026 to Grand Final Day on 29 August 2026, it has been 7 months of hard yakka, on and off the field.

This weekend is the culmination of a massive effort from the entire club. From rookies to veterans, 1st Graders to Joy Johnson Cup players, volunteers setting up the field and chefs turning sausages on Le Grille - it all counts and all makes this club great!

Get down to Concord Oval this Saturday to support the Colts & 4th Grade as they look to put the cherry on top of our 2026 season.

Some pretty incredible stats but it does not do justice to the great people at St Pat’s!

We are all set for a huge day of semi final action!

All 6 teams are competing for a spot in the Grand Final.

All matches will be played at Rothwell Park, Concord and we are looking for a St Pat’s takeover!

Get on your best black and gold, get to Rothwell and support the mighty Patsmen and Patswomen as they look to punch their ticket to the big dance.

We take on opposition from from all corners of Sydney tomorrow and it promises to be a cracking day of rugby!

The regular season has come to an end and we are pleased to announce that all 6 teams have qualified for finals!

All teams will be playing at Rothwell Park and we have a jam packed schedule of semi finals ahead of us.

Full match day schedule will be posted shortly but keep your Saturday free and get down to Rothwell Park to support the Patsmen & Patswomen as they play off for a spot in the Grand Final.

Finally, congratulations to UNSW on securing the Club Championship. Have led the way since round 1 and deserving winners🤝.

The final round of 2026 is here and we are back at Hudson Park for one last dance.

We get a sleep in tomorrow with no 4th Grade game scheduled and an early forfeit win in 3rd Grade.

No less, we have 4 massive games lined up to round out the regular season.

The day kicks off at 12:00pm with our Joy Johnson Cup fixture before the lads take the field!

This Saturday we will host our Annual Black and Gold Supporters Group Day as we thank the wonderful men & women who have so generously donated to support the club.

Over the past 12 years B&G have proven why we have the best supporters in the game. Since 2014 B&G have generously supported the rugby club through various fund raising initiatives with a view to improving and maintains facilities for players and supporters alike.

In 2026 B&G reached an incredible milestone - over $100,000 raised! This is a remarkable achievement of community spirit, passion and selflessness.

This Saturday all Members of the Black & Gold Supporters Group are invited to join us at Hudson Park for the final round of 2026 before we head to The Wentworth Hotel at the conclusion of 1st Grade.

The fellas are off to Rothwell to take on Briars in the final leg of the Parramatta Road Classic.

Congratulations to Nick Doherty who will be playing his 100th club game in 1st Grade.

The ladies are heading north to take on Hornsby - 12pm kick off at Mark Taylor Oval.
