Following the recent news that Hudson Park will be closing up at seasons end for renovations, we take this opportunity to invite all past and present players, Old Boys, volunteers, friend and family to Hudson Park to formally farewell our home in it’s current form!
Since the late 1970s Old Boys have worked tirelessly to establish, build, improve, repair and maintain our home. Over the decades the clubhouse has been the beating heart of our club, bringing together people from all walks of life and binding them with the unbreakable St Pat’s spirit🖤💛
On Saturday, 23 May 2026 we will take on Division heavyweight UNSW in a full day of rugby. This will be our last home game under the existing licence and we want to make sure it’s a belter.
This is an opportunity for all members and supporters of St Patrick’s Rugby Club to come together and enjoy Hudson Park in all it’s glory one final time before we need to start taking down the memorabilia, records, premiership cups, photos and memories!
It’s also an occasion to thank, acknowledge and celebrate the generations of Old Boys and volunteers who have dedicated so much time, effort, expertise and passion to make our home the special place that it is.
St Patrick’s Rugby Club has changed a lot over the years but our home at Hudson Park has remained a constant. 23 May is a day for all generations of St Pat’s players, members and supporters to come together and celebrate the special club we share.
Full match day schedule will be published early next week.
And as a matter of practically we confirm that Hudson Park will re-open at some stage in mid to late 2027 and the Committee is working with Council, St Patrick’s College and all relevant stakeholders to make sure that we continue to use Hudson as our home once renovations are complete!
