STRATHBOGIE GOLF NOTES
We played stableford and the last round of the Wally Dunn Trophy. The competition was very hot between several players to find out who the winner of the trophy was.

Congratulations goes to the Ladies winner Rebecca Newham and the men’s winner Kevin Chenhall.

Thanks goes out to both Greg Roberts for grading the driveway and path down the 18th, and Bill Lawrence for all the stick raking he did on Thursday. Lots of pile of sticks were burnt on Friday, in the clean up process for our tournament this week

STRATHBOGIE GOLF NOTES
We played stroke and Monthly Medal this Saturday 2nd May. And it was also the first round of the Gary Hewlett Medley Trophy.
Hopefully it rains tomorrow we really need it. There was lots of fun with the groups this week. Several of them had interesting adventures on the course. But the motto is what happens on the course stays on the course.
Winner of the men’s competition and Monthly Medal was Phil Fry with a score of nett 71
Winner of the Ladies competition was Bec Newham with a score of nett 73 – the handicapper will catch up with her soon.

We played stableford on Saturday 25th April, Anzac Day teeing off at 1pm. Thank you to everyone that worked on the course this week, it looks absolutely perfect. But boy, do we need some rain.

Winner of the Ladies competition was Eleanor Barns with 37 points.

We played stableford and the men played off the red tees. And this time they managed to play them very well beating the girls by a long mile.
We started presentations with wishing our captain a very happy birthday.
Also this week we farewell Jim McAlister, hope his new ventures goes well. We thank him for all the work he and Catherine have done on the golf course, you will be sorely missed.
Winner of the men’s competition was Ant Newham with 37 points. He travelled the golf course playing on many different fairways, and occasionally playing the same fairways as his partners
Winner of the Ladies competition was Vic Fry with 31 points

We played stableford on Saturday 14th March. Nice to see Mick Bolton and the club and playing golf with us. The fairways were nice and green and stopped the ladies with the run.

We played stableford on Saturday 21st Feb and we played at early to try and beat the heat. Once again you had to have a great score to get a ball.
Today was a Van Der Schoor family winning day. And once again the girls had great scores out doing the men

We played stableford this week 24th January, there was quite a few visitors that came to play with us. The course was in great condition and thankyou to everyone that help clean the course up, after a very windy week.

We played stableford today 31st January and we started early due to the hot weather. Boy were we glad we did that nearly melted with the heat at the end of our round of golf. And the scores were red hot today and the girls were leading the field.
