Although our grounds were in great condition early in the morning, a torrential downpour during our C Grade match left our pitch in poor condition for our As and Bs. As a result it was decided they would be postponed.

Our Cs once again let a lead slip by but had plenty of positives, with Under 17s players Ryder Blakey, Thomas Mugford, Leon Donaghay, Caelum Haynes and Raymond Rigney all contributing.

Goalscorer: Jake Fechner

This weekend marks a very special event on our 2026 calendar, the Mental Health Round. With so many Australians suffering from mental health issues, has partnered with to spread awareness and fundraise money towards an incredibly important cause.

With over $400 raised so far from our club alone, we hope to continue building towards a larger goal and show the League - and the entire footballing community - how much we care about this issue. If you wish to donate under the Strath Strikers name, click the link in our bio. Donations can also be made at our canteen on Gameday.

All our players will wear blue armbands this week in honour of the cause as we host Bridgewater Wolves in the C Grade and Brothers United in the Bs and As.

We hope to see many people come out and support us as we battle it out for points and pride on an important day.

If you are experiencing mental health issues and need help, call 1300 22 4636 (24/7) to speak with a trained mental health professional or access the 24/7 Beyond Blue Online Chat for brief counselling.

An aggravation of a pre-existing ankle injury will see Blake Thomas miss an extended period on the sidelines, while Cameron Deer makes steady progress with his own ankle issue.

After experiencing some overall stiffness during his shoulder recovery, James Smallman was forced to have an MRI which discovered a disc in his back has been severely damaged, pushed out 10mm and was compressing his nerve. After a bout of injections and surgery he is now on the mend, with his full recovery the utmost priority.

Morgan Kaczurowski is still deeply missed on the field due to a knuckle fracture, while Bill Brooks, Matthew Reid and Tarkis Cooper are all unfortunately not returning this season.

This week sees our Men play in this years Mental Health Round, where we show our support for Beyond Blue. With over $400 already donated through the club to this cause, we hope to see that number rise throughout the week. If you wish to donate, the link is in our bio.

After suffering just a 1-0 defeat back in Round 2 to Brothers United, can this week finally be the breakthrough first win for our A Grade? Our B Grade will look to make it 2 wins in 2, while our C Grade will look to improve against Bridgewater. Our Women enjoy the week off after travelling to Hahndorf last week.

Despite a strong first half to only be down by 1 at the break, a disastrous second stanza saw us lose comprehensively to FC Summit.

An incredibly professional performance saw our B Grade comfortably record their second victory of the season, whilst our C Grade took the lead via a controversial penalty but were unable to hold the advantage.

Today our Women played a tight and competitive match against Hills rivals Hahndorf, but fell to the shortest of margins.

Goalscorers:

Cs - Jake Fechner
Bs - Liam Ansell, Peter Larkin
