Back to Angas Go-Kart Club this time on Saturday for the club championship. For something different our bad luck continued at Angas once again .4 snapped brake caliper bolts🤷 put an end to a good result with an DNF. With the kart all fixed it was time for the final , managed to film it with Blake out 6th at the start.

Finally a race weekend without rain, so we decided to head to Morgan Dirt Kart Club Inc. The plan was to run the 200 & 125 mediums, with a problem with 200 we decided to parked it up . Running with the 125 X Series over 4 heats & a final it was great to get a full race meeting in. After not having any luck this year the heat races went well in a field of 14 karts . A heat win and a couple of 3rds in the heats it was time for the winner take all final. Starting out 4th Blake got a cracker into the first corner & moved into 2nd . A 8 lap final Blake drove a great race and had plenty of speed holding his position finally finishing 3 Rd overall after being punted out of 2nd on the last lap , it seems to be the state of karting at the moment.
A great weekend of racing as a family and a big thanks to all our sponsors and supporters as well as the volunteers.

As it is in sport not every weekend goes your way .
Sunday we decided to just run the 125 to find some speed and get comfortable. The 3 heats went well and finally got things sorted in the 3rd. As Blake crossed the line boom the chain dislodged and that put an end to the day,too much damage to repair for the final. Thanks to Adam for his advice and all our sponsors.
