At Stratford Tennis Club , we are incredibly proud to partner with Bionic Tennis Coaching and support initiatives that help our young people grow both on and off the court.

This term, Bionic Tennis Coaching partnered with Time To Bloom Coaching to deliver the Bionic Mindset Program to athletes within the Bionic Performance Squad.

While tennis skills, fitness and match play are important, we know that developing resilient, confident and self-aware young people is just as valuable.

Through a series of engaging workshops, athletes explored topics including mindset, self-belief, resilience, managing pressure, positive self-talk and personal growth.

Parents were also invited to participate, helping create a shared understanding of how we can best support young athletes throughout their sporting journey.

As a community club, we are grateful to see our coach investing so heavily in the holistic development of our juniors. Programs like this help create stronger athletes, stronger families and a stronger tennis community.

A huge thank you to Nicole and the team at Bionic Tennis Coaching, along with Kristen from Time to Bloom, for providing opportunities that extend far beyond the baseline.

The future of our sport is bright when we continue to invest in the people behind the player.

πŸ‘ Well done to all athletes and families who embraced the opportunity to learn, grow and develop.

BUILDING THE BIONIC MINDSET

with Time Time To Bloom Coaching

🧠🎾🧠🎾🧠🎾🧠🎾🧠🎾🧠🎾🧠🎾🧠🎾

At Bionic Tennis Coaching, we believe great athletes are built through more than just forehands, footwork and fitness.

This term, our Bionic Performance Squad athletes invested in one of the most important areas of their development β€” their mindset.

Through an exciting new partnership with Time to Bloom Life Coaching, led by the incredible Kristen, our athletes and parents participated in

Mastering the Inner Game:
Building a BIONIC Mindset

Because in sport, technical skill and physical fitness are only part of the equation. The athletes who consistently perform under pressure understand that the real game is often won or lost between the ears.

Throughout the program, our athletes explored:

🧠 The science of the brain

πŸ’ The Inner Coach vs The Inner Critic

🎯 Practical tools to manage nerves and pressure

πŸ’ͺ Building self-belief through effort and resilience

πŸ”„ Understanding how thoughts influence performance

🌱 Developing habits that support long-term growth and success

Grounded in our BIONIC values of:

πŸ’ͺ Effort

πŸ™Œ Teamwork

❀️ Passion

βœ… Accountability

πŸ˜ƒ Fun

🀝 Integrity

The sessions reinforced an important message: success is about far more than results. It is about developing confident, resilient, self-aware young people who are equipped to thrive both on and off the court.

Just as importantly, Kristen also delivered a dedicated parent session, exploring the powerful role parents play in shaping a child's mindset, motivation and enjoyment of sport.

Together, athletes, parents and coach developed a shared language around growth, resilience and performance β€” creating stronger connections and a more supportive environment for our young people to flourish.

Are our athletes the finished product?
Absolutely not.

Like all of us, they are still learning, growing and evolving into the players β€” and people β€” they aspire to become.

What they do know, however, is that they are surrounded by a pretty special village of coaches, parents, mentors and supporters who are committed to helping them every step of the way.

A huge thank you to the incredible Kristen of Time to Bloom Coaching for helping us continue to build stronger athletes, stronger people and a stronger community.

Because at Bionic, we're not just developing tennis players.
We're developing humans.

Sunday was more than tennis. It was a deadly day of connection, culture, and tennis at the National Tennis Centre. It was about connection to culture, community and creating safe and welcoming spaces where everyone feels they belong.

To see young people smiling, learning and sharing experiences together at the National Tennis Centre was truly special.

Days like this remind us just how powerful and 'deadly' sport can be β€” bringing people together, celebrating culture, strengthening community and creating memories that last a lifetime.

Massive congratulations to our very own Bionic Tennis Coaching legend, Logan who represented us incredibly well. Playing incredible tennis, achieving goals and enjoying 'pinch yourself' momennts playing on the National Tennis Centre indoor courts.

Logan played in the 14u Performance Boys Singles and Doubles events, finishing runner up in the Doubles final. The biggest surprise was Logan being awarded the 'DEADLY' Award. A massive honor. πŸŽ‰

Coaches Nic & Logan were super excited to support the team with the 'Come Try' program for the day. Introducing tennis to a number of 'first timers'. Playing modified games and activities creating confidence and participation in a non competitive environment.

A huge shout out to Adam, Kayla, Tahlia and the Tennis Vic Inclusion team plus everyone involved in making the day so special πŸ‘.
