What an incredible experience at the 2026 Stawell Gift for Elevate Athletics athlete Sam Cataldo! 🔥🏃🏼

Sam took on both the 100m and 400m, representing with determination and a great attitude across the weekend.

In the 100m, Sam ran a fantastic race to finish 2nd in his heat with a time of 11.88 seconds, narrowly missing a spot in the final by just 0.03 seconds — an unbelievably close margin! 👏🏻👏🏻

He also stepped up in the 400m, running off the back mark (red) and finishing 6th in 55.08 seconds, showing grit and composure over the full lap 💪🏻

When asked about his favourite part of the Stawell Gift, Sam said:
“Being able to go out on the track and have fun and socialise with other athletes.”

And that’s exactly what it’s all about 🙌🏻
