Waiting on a baby…

Our very special girl Epics Famous Fling aka Crush💋
(x EPIC LEADER - USA🇺🇸 x A STREAK OF FLING - USA🇺🇸 daughter).
Starting to show a little more than the feed bucket can.

Tucked in there somewhere is her incredibly special SLICK BY DESIGN - USA 🇺🇸 baby. Ticking away, keeping me awake at night wondering what it will be and stressing about every possible detail.
Just a little PTSD from life breeding horses 🙃

After fracturing her hip as a yearling and causing herself some permanent damage, it was decided she was best to be put in foal incase something else happened. Sound to ride, it is unlikely that her past injury will not affect her at peak performance.
So for now, Crush fills the role of producing our 3rd generation born and bred Hunting R baby.

A huge congratulations to High Point Performance Horses on their late stud SLICK BY DESIGN - USA🇺🇸 cracking the $12 million mark in progeny earnings. He’s a world class producing sire & we are undoubtedly going to see that figure continue to climb as more and more Slick babies follow in his footsteps & winning ways.

Our resident Slick stud c**t is out of an own daughter of the $13 + million sire A STREAK OF FLING - USA🇺🇸 and backed on a Seconds Ta Fame - IMP🇺🇸 daughter, with a long list of Australian Champion barrel horse sires for each generation of his dam line.

A strong and powerful built c**t, we are loving watching him develop and cannot wait to see him cross on some of our mares.

Massive congratulations to Jane Ryan & Flash That Second Carona aka Xtra on breaking into elite APRA Winners Club after taking out at Roma Pro Rodeo over the Easter break!!

We all know how long the road is to see success on young horses and how much effort, knowledge & humbling patience is required. With plenty that never make the grade.
It’s a huge credit to Jane for her ability & talent to train one to this level☝️

Super proud to see this team achieve this win & to see the R represented so well.
Flash That Second Carona was born & raised here at Hunting R Select Genetics. To see his first steps and now his first Pro Rodeo Win is something incredibly special.

Could not be happier with how this El Paso Desperado filly is growing out. Crossed on an own daughter of USA 🇺🇸 imported stud Heza Rare Man, her dam Rarin Ta Roc is out of the multi Futurity Champion Roc N Shakira. Whose grand dam is the incredible, undisputed leading barrel horse producing mare, Adele Edwards great Jessica Morn.

Combined with El Paso’s own dam line, being a highly proven producing line, stemming back to the great mare Vogue of Morn (grand dam to 4x APRA Australian Champion Barrel Horse, Morns Akka Dakka Roc).

Not to mention El Paso’s paternal grand dam Dash Ta Vanila - USA 🇺🇸. Whose dam line is rated as one of the best in the world.

There’s a lot of great mares blood that this filly has running through her veins.
Praying she finds the right home & capable hands, that will give her the opportunity & great foundation to show it.
