Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 10 June 2026.

A field of eight ladies participated in the Single Stableford Competition today.

The ladies welcomed four ladies from the Warwick Golf Club who played in the competition today: Leanne Manwaring, Carol Brandon, Maria Carey and Anna Cox.

Helen Jones is in a purple patch at the moment and won the competition today with 32 stableford points. Lisa Stuart followed closely and was runner up with 30 stableford points.

Pin shots were won by Warwick ladies, Leanne Manwaring on the 3rd and Anna Cox on the 12th. Other pin shots were won by Lorraine Evans with her beautiful approach on to the 2/11th and Lisa with her very skilful approach shot on to the 7/16th and Lisa also won the pin shot on the 17th.

Stanthorpe Golf Result 6th June 2026

The first game of the month is a Stroke match. Saturday’s Competition was sponsored by Gary Kirby of Andersen’s Carpets and we thank them very much.

Also the winner of the day gets a free drink and trophy mug sponsored by Todd Beckett of Beckett’s Pest Control (Todd’s Tanker). The Club thanks them very much.

Congratulations to the winner of the Ladies competition, Helen Jones, followed up by Lorraine Evans, Nikki Waterworth and Linda Kelly.
The pin shots went to Lorraine Evans, Helen Jones, Neta Thouard and Nikki Waterworth who also won the putting competition.

The pin shots went to Scott Constable (x2), Barry Jones (x2), Grant Howard and Phil Mihulka. The putting was won by Matt Waterworth, just 22 putts in 18

Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 03 June 2026.

A brave group of ladies, faced bitterly cold winds today, to compete in the Monthly Medal and Putting Competition.

Helen Jones faced the winds head on and gave it everything she had and won the Monthly Medal with 77 nett. Helen won on a count back from Lisa Stuart, who was Runner Up, also with 77 nett.

Lisa played beautifully and won the gross score with 93 gross and also won the putting competition with 31 putts.

Pin shots were won by Neta Thouard on the 3rd and 12th, Lorraine Evans on the 7/16th and 17th and Helen Jones on the 2/11th.

Stanthorpe Golf Club – Saturday Report 20.5.26

A happy day of Golf in brilliant Stanthorpe (and Scottish) weather. There’s nothing quite like a chill breeze to clear the head and focus on the golf ball through teary eyes. The Day’s Play was a Four Ball Best Ball sponsored by two of our favourite members and nature’s gentlemen, Johnny ‘Be-good’ Green and Brendan ‘McSporran’ McMillan. Congratulations to two legends (in their own lunch box), Ivan Juriss and Wesley Smith on a very healthy 45 Stableford points. On the day Ivan could putt with his eyes closed. Congratulations to the runner up duo of Sam Dowie and Lochlan Hendry on 43 points. They won on a count-back from Max Hunter and Mike Middleton.

Pin Shots. Well done Ladies; Laraine Gurnett (2/11), Nikki Waterworth (7/16 and 12), Trish Fittock (17). Men’s pin shots went to Brendan Barker (1/10), Mike Middleton (9/18), Scott Constable (3 & 12), Rino Piovesan (17) and Phil Mihulka (5).

Next Saturday is a single stroke game sponsored by that kilometre driving Gary Kirby and Andersen’s Carpets. And our own ever smiling Neta Thouard will sponsor the ‘Ladies Molly Pratt Qualifier.’

Stanthorpe Golf Report

The 4th and final round of the Club Championships were played on Sunday 24th of May under cloudy but dry conditions.

Thanks to our generous 4th day sponsors Alan Kerr and Dale Minchenton and to Greg and Maria Carey who provided sponsorship for the Championship winners.

The Men’s winner for the day with a great score of 69 nett was Brad Silver who won by 2 shots over Ivan Juriss.

Men’s pin shots went to Jason Lawer on 3, Brendon Barker on 12 and Phil Mihulka on 17. Men’s approaches were won by Matt Waterworth (1/10), Michael O’Brien (5/14) and Brendon Barker (9/18).

The Ladies winner was Trish Fittock with a good score of 72 nett. Trish completed a clean sweep by winning all 4 days of the Championships.

Runner up was Neta Thouard on 76 nett.
Ladies Pin shots went to Mandy Benussi on 12 and Lisa Stuart on 17. Nikki Waterworth claimed 2/11 and Filomena Silver picked up 7/16.

The Men’s Club Championship winner came down to a very exciting play-off hole and the eventual winner and 2026 Club Champion is David Reeves who managed to prevail over a determined Brendon Barker.

Our 2026 Ladies Club Champion is Lisa Stuart who had a close win over Nikki Waterworth.
Congratulations to all our grade and veteran winners and to everyone who participated in the days.

Next Saturday is a 4BBB event which is sponsored by members John Green and Brendan McMillan.

Stanthorpe Golf Report

A big field of 74 golfers played in the third round of the Club Championships on Saturday 23rd of May. Player numbers were enhanced by visitors from the “Loose Nuts” group from Cabarlah who had 12 players in the field.

It was a challenging day of golf with the windy conditions and some of the pin placements testing golfers’ skills and temperament. However, the greens are in great condition after being cored last month.

The competition was sponsored by Chris Fittock Plumbing and we thank them for their sponsorship.

The Men’s winner with a good score of 71 nett was Geoff Thompson from Cabalah who won on a countback from runner up Kev Rowling.

Men’s pin shots went to Matt Waterworth on 3, Jack Parker on 12 and Alan Bignell on 17. Men’s approaches were won by Matt Waterworth (1/10), David Burgess (5/14) and “Loose Nut” Mark Gregson (9/18). Cabarlah visitor Kevin Doyle showed a lot of skill by scoring an eagle on 13.

The Ladies winner was also last weeks winner Trish Fittock with an excellent score of 68 nett and runner up was Mandy Benussi on 69 nett.

Ladies Pin shots went to Lisa Stuart on 12 and 17. Lisa went on to claim the approach shots on 2/11 and 7/16.

A big field of golfers played in the May Monthly Medal which was also the first round of the Club Championships on Saturday the 9th May.
It was a perfect sunny day and with plenty of run on the course low scoring was expected.

The competition was generously sponsored by the Stanthorpe Golf Club and we thank the club for their sponsorship.

The Men’s winner with a pretty good score of 69 nett was Brad Silver and coming in second place with a score of 71 nett was morning player Ron Batterham.
Brendon Barker had the best gross score with an excellent 74. Brad Silver also won the least putts with 26.

Men’s pin shots went to Lyle Bryant on 3 and Keith Jones on 12. Men’s approaches were won by Phil Hawtin (1/10), Scott Constable (5/14) and David Reeves (9/18).

The Ladies Monthly Medal was won by Trish Fittock with a great score of 72 and runner up on a countback was Sandra Ellis on 74.
Lisa Stuart won the best gross score with 91 and 3 ladies shared the least putts of 27 – Lynette Ludlow, Lisa Stuart and Trish Fittock.

Ladies Pin shots went to Nikki Waterworth on 12 and Lisa Stuart on 17. Ladies approaches were won by Trish Fittock (2/11) and Mandy Benussi (7/16).

Stanthorpe Ladies Golf Results Wednesday 06 May 2026.

An enthusiastic group of ladies competed in the Monthly Medal and Putting competition today.

Mary-Catherine Fletcher was once again welcomed by the ladies. Mary-Catherine has one more round of golf to play to submit her cards, which will enable her to play competitive golf.

Karen Merritt was the winner of the Monthly Medal with a beautiful score of 77 nett, on a count back from Lisa Stuart. Karen is relatively new to golf and is showing great potential in becoming a very competitive golfer.

Lisa Stuart continues to demonstrate her golfing skills and was runner up with 77. Lisa also won the gross score with 92 gross.

Lorraine Evans continues to shine at putting and won the putting competition with 30 putts.

Pin shots were won by Filomena Silver on the 12th, Lisa on the 2/11th and 17th and Helen Jones on the 7/16th.

Stanthorpe Golf Club welcomed golfers for the Annual Black Toyota 3 Ball Ambrose on Sunday 3 May 2026.

Proudly sponsored by Robbie Reeves, Black Toyota, golfers came from many clubs to test their skills.
From Burleigh, Royal Queensland, The Brisbane Golf Club, Mount Warren Park, Tenterfield, were amongst many clubs represented.

We were also honoured by the presence of Hannah Reeves. A local Stanthorpe girl, recently turned professional, who has had some good results in Australia and overseas.

Winners of the event were T Reeves, O Skerman and B Jones with a score of 58.5 points.

Runners up, S Kay, D Reeves & D Reeves combined to score 60.3 points.

Best Gross with 61.5 points were I Juriss, W Smith & J Howard.

Mens pin shots- Jim Hook on 3 Brendon Barker on 12, Micky O’Brien 17, Oscar Skerman 1/10,, Alan Kropp 5/14 and Jason Bacon 9/18.

Ladies pin shots- 12 & 17th Sandra Ellis, 2/11 Lorraine Evans , Debbie Reeves on 7 /16
Long drives- Tom Reeves for the men and Debbie Reeves for the Ladies.
