In 2024 Clare Valley Racing Club brought the Lexus Melbourne Cup to Clare! Now CVRC is giving you the chance to go to the 2026 Melbourne Cup.
A very limited raffle is now open, with only 150 tickets to raise funds for further improvements at the picturesque Clare Valley Racecourse.
You could win 2 x return airfares to Melbourne, 2 nights accommodation, Transfers, an exclusive pre cup function to celebrate the carnival, and reserved seats in The Hill Stand opposite the Flemington Finishing Post, all to the value of $4000.

And that’s a wrap! What an incredible day at the Clare Easter Races 🐎✨

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it such a wonderful celebration of community, country racing, and great company. From Fashions at the Races and delicious food and wine, to seven competitive races and true country hospitality, it was a fantastic day out for all.

We’re thrilled to share that 3,418 people came through the gates—a record crowd! A huge shout out to the trainers, jockeys, bookmakers, organisers, volunteers, and sponsors who made it all possible.

Here’s to good times, local spirit, and doing it all again next year!

The weather is looking absolutely perfect for this Saturday's Clare Easter Races! 🌞 A mostly sunny day with an average temperature of 23 degrees!!

We can't wait to welcome everyone to the track. The team have been working very hard to ensure the course looks amazing, the marquees are set and the day runs smoothly for all involved.

Some final reminders:

🏇 There will be FREE shuttle buses all day, starting at 11.30am from the Clare Caravan Park. It will loop throughout the day until 6.30pm (no need to book, just jump on).
🏇 For all those on the Deck, Pavilion or Lookout, the food service starts from 12.30pm.
🏇 The first race will start at 1:06pm and the last race will be at 4.48pm.
🏇 Fashions at the Races will be located at the Lookout after Race 3 at approximately 2.20pm.
🏇 There will be Mechanical Bull rides from Midday.
🏇 Cash and card both accepted.
🏇 Strictly no BYO alcohol, but you can bring your own food (eskies will be checked).
🏇 Please remember to wear a hat, sunscreen and sensible shoes!

Get ready for the Clare Easter Races! Gates open at 11:30 AM with Race 1 starting at 1 PM, so arrive early and soak up the atmosphere of this iconic Clare Valley event.

🚍 There’s a free shuttle bus running all day from 11.30AM, making it easy to get to and from Clare. First stop departs the Carvan Park, stopping at the Middle Pub, then onto the track. There will also be booked times from the Country Club.

Bring the family, enjoy the racing thrills, great food, local wines, and fashion on the field, and make a day of it!
