CVRC Happenings!
Clare Valley Racing Club is opening the 2026/2027 Racing Season by re-signing long term and Major Sponsor, Jim Barry Wines. The CVRC Committee and Tom, Sam and Peter, (pictured) from Jim Barry are thrilled to renew the relationship. The Jim Barry Brand is embedded in the region’s DNA and provides a perfect fit for the racing club. The association has spanned over 50 years and includes both direct equine links and hospitality links.

Gareth Heron, Chairperson of CVRC said, “the support from Jim Barry over such a long period has been the key building block for the club to produce quality country racing at the Clare
track”.

CVRC enters the new season after a successful and active 2025/2026 season. The club has worked hard with Racing SA and its own committee and resources to upgrade and repair the steward’s towers, the track tractor, replacing shade sails, improving its audio visual systems, growing attendances and doubling its voting membership.

Other key supporters to renew their support of the club include Kadina and Clare Jewellers who organise the ever popular and growing, Fashion At The Races, headed up by the over
active Lisa Robertson.

Magic FM 105.9 as part of the ARN Network have provided the broad coverage essential to the CVRC by getting the message out to its growing clientele for the annual Saturday Easter
Races.

Platinum Ag Services also have agreed to further the relationship with Clare Valley Racing
Club as the perfect mix of rewarding clients and showing its commitment to the region.
