Hi all!
Thank you to everyone who came to Market Day and showed interest in our club. If you are new to the club you may join us for a 2 week free trial. After which you will need to purchase our 3 month training pass ($100 for UQ Gold members and $140 for non-members) and annual AusTriathlon club membership (contact us for more info).
For your first session, Friday track is a great way to start, as we will all be on the track together, regardless of pace or ability!
If you are coming to a bike session please make sure that you have front and rear lights, a helmet and working brakes as we will be riding on the road. Contact us in advance if you wish to attend.
Please arrive ~5 minutes early to meet everyone and say hi to the coaches.
Session details:
Monday 5:15 am Swim set (uncoached) @ UQ Pool - speed session
Tuesday 5:30 am Cycling @ Planetarium gates (Mt Coot-tha) – Climbing/strength orientated
Wednesday 5:15 am Run set (uncoached) @ UQ Pool – Tempo/threshold sessions
Thursday 5:15 am Cycling @ UQ Pool – Flat TT orientated sessions
Friday 5:30 am Running @ UQ Pool – Track session
(Saturday and Sunday times are subject to change, send us a message on the page if you’re keen to come along!)
Cycling: Saturday 5:30 am @ UQ Pool – Social long ride, 60-100kms, 3-4hrs
Running: Sunday 5:30 am @ TBD – Social long run/trail run, 8-15kms, 60-90mins
Our sessions during the week tend to run for about 90 minutes, so we should be done by 7am
