FREE-DUMBBELL DAY!

Going back to the gym is exciting but possibly a little daunting for those who haven't had the opportunity to train properly for awhile.

Tips for the first few weeks....

Don't expect to be where you were before...it's ok. Take it easy. If you are ridiculously sore you went too hard.

Make a plan/write a program or get one written for you.

For those that have been able to train a bit you may have realised you don't need to do as much as you though to maintain what you have.

If you want to progress though don't waste your time spinning your wheels doing junk workouts. Make sure you are getting the most out of the time you allocate to training....that's where the plan/program comes into play.

Last one....

Remember weight training is for muscle development not weight/ fat reduction..

99% of people go to the gym or workout and see no results because they lack these things.

You have got to want the change and you need to have a plan to achieve it.

Simply showing up is not going to do it.

Just like a calorie deficit/surplus needs to be tracked to be able to gauge results so too does a workout

If you aren't seeing results it's most likely that you don't have a plan.
