I highly recommend The Nurturing Hive. I had previously attended a few parent, baby classes with singing..but couldn’t commit to every week as sometimes it’s difficult enough just getting my son ready, never mind me! But the fact that these classes are online allows you to do it in whatever room, wearing any clothes, and even feed during the session!
Being online also means you do not have to sing in front of a room of people, but still gives you the benefit of a professionally led session and interaction for your child.

Your baby’s first words will forever be ingrained in your mind. A first word is a huge accomplishment as they are learning that the random sounds they have been hearing for many months, actually have meaning!

Language learning is no easy feat for a baby. Every word you utter could stand for ANYTHING in the room, or out of the room, perhaps you are talking about something that is happening next week. That’s confusing for your little language learner. Here are some tips to help your bub solve the mystery of language
—
Think about your daily routines with baby. These routines and the language surrounding them happen on a daily basis. Take advantage of this repetition. Scientists show that the development of first words are connected to language heard in the home environment
—
Follow your baby’s lead. Talk about things they appear interested in. They are more likely to connect the words you are saying if they already have an interest in the object.
—
Be clear about what it is you are talking about by holding up the object, pointing at it, looking at it. Help baby know that when you say the word duck, you are referring to the duck, and not the water, the bath, the bubbles, the tap etc.
—
Sing a song about their object of interest. This provides more opportunity for your baby to hear the word duck! You know the one.....🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆 🦆
