I know as much as anyone how hard these lockdowns have been. From a snack and wine perspective right through to the mental health aspects. It's hard, a lot of us don't feel great and it's really easy to feel anxious.
People who are in my close network understand my fitness journey. And albeit I've never had a 6 pack and can own that space - but I also love being a personal trainer that can connect with so many people regardless of size. I also (regardless of whatever size I've been across my life) understand how great fitness can make me feel whether I was 70kg, 80kg, 90kg or even 100kg.
Your body shape doesn't define who you are, but nothing beats feeling happy. Happy in your own skin, happy with the energy you put out to the world and happy with the solid connections of people you have in your life and I believe fitness plays a key role in helping people feel happier.
So over the coming weeks (because I know again how much fitness makes me feel) I'm going to be dropping a couple of simple express 10min workouts that you can do from the comfort of your own home (if you're too shy to jump out in a park to do it) and if you aren't shy... well wherever you are just smash it out.
Really no equipment is needed, in this workout I use a paint can because since moving countries I too have pretty much zero equipment, so I'll show you how to incorporate everyday items into your workouts.
I want you to feel good, I want you to feel happy and I want you to feel connected in a world where we've all had to take a step back. These workouts are designed for anyone, any size and any fitness level.
Give it a go, I know you won't be saying you feel s**t afterwards and you might surprise yourself in how it helps your mood and energy.
