Congratulations to many of our ballet students who undertook their Royal Academy of Dance Examinations this week!

Working towards an exam teaches goal setting, discipline and work ethic, as well as providing students the opportunity to perform and enjoy their ballet training.

Thank you Grant Kennedy for providing live piano accompaniment for our students. This is such a special experience and we are so lucky to have you.

A special congratulations to Amelie and Amy who completed their Advanced 2 Exam! This is the final examination with the RAD and a mammoth achievement. These girls prepared and took the exam whilst also at full time school, which we are so proud of! 💐

Congratulations to our wonderful students who took part in the Youth Grand Prix Sydney Semi-Final last week! The students were so lucky to take masterclasses from Directors all over the world and perform their solos for esteemed adjudicators.

Exam ready! ⭐️

Well done to our ballet grade students who have been preparing diligently for their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) exams this week, and spent today doing intensive rehearsals at the studio.

We were so lucky to have Grant Kennedy, NSDA and RAD pianist, at the studio today so that the students could rehearse with live music.

We are so proud of Tiffany Ma who has just returned from a very exciting trip to the UK. 🇬🇧⭐️

Tiffany was lucky enough to be selected for both the Royal Ballet School’s and Elmhurst’s, School of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, 2026 Summer Programs. These are two of the best ballet schools in the world!

Such a special and inspiring experience for a young dancer! It was especially exciting for Tiffany to visit Elmhurst, where NSDA Director, Sarah Eddie, trained as a pre-professional student.

Examination Rehearsal Day 1!

Our RAD ballet grade students spent the day training with NSDA faculty to prepare for their upcoming exams. We are looking forward to having an examiner visit our studio in 2 weeks time!

Well done students for your hard work! Ballet exams instil work ethic, discipline and goal setting in students, helping in all areas of life.

Liahna had a wonderful opportunity to be trained and mentored by the Juilliard artistic faculty. It was a privilege for her to learn from the Associate Dean and Director of The Juilliard School Dance Division, Jamal Callender.

We can’t believe it’s already been 2 months since our Junior Mid-Year Showcase! 💙

Here are some special moments from our pre-school and primary school-aged jazz students. We loved watching them shine on stage, and it was so special to see them proudly present their classwork to their family and friends.

Now, they’re back in the studio working hard on their technique, strength and skills as they prepare for our End of Year Concert on 15 November!

We are so excited for Tiffany Ma who was not only a finalist, but won the Junior Ballet Scholarship! Huge congratulations Tiffany!

We were also lucky to have two groups, our 10 & under contemporary and 18 & under lyrical, selected to perform at the Finals Night after winning their sections. Well done everyone!

We are also very proud of our soloists, who performed so well at their last eisteddfod of the year. Here are some fantastic results.
