Hey Table Tennis fans !!! There will be no table tennis at the tin shed on Easter Sunday April 5, 2026. Instead, there will be table tennis on Easter Monday, April 6, 2026. Hope to see you there !

From February 22, 2026 the cost will increase from $3 to $4.

Down at the Tin Shed on a Sunday morn,
Where paddles tap and friendships form,
A whisper spread from door to door—
“The council says it’s now four dollars… not three anymore.”
The regulars paused mid‑serve in surprise,
Brow‑raises sweeping like synchronized sighs.
“Four bucks,” someone muttered, “well that’s a twist—
But I suppose inflation’s hard to resist.”
Still, the tables stood ready, the rallies began,
The banter rolled on as only banter can.
A dollar extra wasn’t enough to deter
The champions of chatter and topspin blur.
So they paid their coins with a grin and a joke,
“Council’s buying gold nets,” laughed one old bloke.
And play carried on, just like before—
Same Tin Shed spirit, just one dollar more.

The holiday feasting is finally done
It's time for some Sunday Tin Shed fun
The New Year is here, the crackers are dead
So grab up your bat and clear out your head

Kumar's on court with a look in his eye
Ready to make the all the ping-pong balls fly
He's playing doubles - we wish him the best
And hope that is partner survives the whole test

So come swing a racket and try not to slip,
With a New Year's resolve and very firm grip.
The fourth of January is the date for the games
Where we miss all our shots but remember our names!

Table Tennis is back on midday - 3:30 pm today, Sunday 4th January at the Tin Shed.
