A good turn out, no wind and a dry track for our first evening of spring 🌸🌷🌼
Club members were delighted to catch up with a few of our past members, Micky Davin, Chris Murphy and Tom Gallagher who were along to join us. (Sorry no photo evidence)
It was a busy night on the track with a few of the non participants occasionally getting in the way. A night where the Andersons were once again on fire 🔥 Alan off a 23s hcp producing some real speed to take first place in Round 2 of the Healthy Eating 200m Hcp, Troy off 10s had a good run and came home for second place and Helen off 13s took third place. Unfortunately no times were available for the event. In the final of the Ross Martin 3k run hcp, Helen put up a strong fight for third place to Lyndsay and Sayed. Her determination and consistency over the series paid off rewarding her for the second year in a row as the winner of the Ross Martin 3km Hcp series. Congratulations Helen! 🏆
In the club rooms later there was a presentation for our trophy winner Helen and birthday wishes for Karleen 🎉🎂🥳
Our members were then treated to pumpkin soup courtesy of Louisa along with fresh sandwiches, banana cake and muffins. Thanks to Karleen for all the photos and videos of the evening.
Next week will be the start of the Eric Greaves 5km run Hcp.
