The Sabres community has spoken! 🗳️
We’re proud to announce that the proceeds from our 2026 Grand Final Fundraiser will go to the Dr Sarah Barlow Bowel Cancer Foundation. 🦋
The Foundation was established by Dr Sarah Barlow following her own diagnosis with bowel cancer at just 36 and supports research into young-onset bowel cancer, with a particular focus on earlier detection and improved treatment.
It’s a cause with a special connection to our dodgeball community, and we’re very proud to be fundraising in support of Sarah’s legacy and this important work. ❤️

Last days to get your votes in!

🖤🧡 HELP US PICK OUR 2026 FUNDRAISER CHARITY! 🧡🖤

Our Annual Grand Final Fundraiser is coming up, and this year we want the dodgeball community to decide where the money goes. ❤️

We’ve chosen four charities that hold special meaning for people within our community — now it’s over to YOU.

Vote by commenting the emoji for the charity you’d most like us to support:

🔋 Mito Foundation - Supporting Australians impacted by mitochondrial disease while funding vital research towards better treatments and, ultimately, a cure.
💙 Cure Brain Cancer Foundation - Working to improve survival and quality of life for people affected by brain cancer by funding innovative research, advocacy and support.
🩷 Pink Elephants Support Network - Providing understanding, connection and specialised support so no one has to navigate miscarriage and early pregnancy loss alone.
🦋 Dr Sarah Barlow Bowel Cancer Foundation - Funding research into the early detection and better treatment of bowel cancer in young people.

One vote per person — so choose wisely!

🗳️ Voting closes Friday 4 September at 5pm.

Every dollar raised at our Grand Final Fundraiser on Saturday 26 September will go to the charity you choose. 🖤🧡
