I suppose I should make an update - I'm still here and in the game. Just got a little injured and side tracked with work.

But updates will be more frequent. Just need a bit of a game plan. For now - here is a squat opener in preparation for competition next weekend.

Well it has been a while since I have posted here. So here we go:

I will officially launch "Muscle waifu" in the new year. The reason for this push back is simple: I got into a world powerlifting competition - and so much of my focus has been on making sure I am 100% for that.

I also want to do some revamping in what I can offer - both as an anime fan and as a lifter who is big on health. So after next month there's a lot of work to do.

Either way - to the newcomers - thank you for coming along for the ride, here is a preview of what is to come

ANNOUNCEMENT: the launch of MUSCLE WAIFU will be delayed until the end of June. There is a couple of major reasons for this. Firstly I got some feedback re. The shirt and I am very stringent on quality control. So I will be looking for a good solution. The second is because I am competing at Nationals in a few weeks, and that takes precedence.

But part of the reason for starting Muscle Waifu was to provide healthy, delicious and budget sound meals.....
Because as anime fans, we'd rather spend our money on anime goods... I know I do....

I've always wanted to create fun merchandise that highlighted my love of lifting and anime.

And now I can be proud to say that I have done this. The Muscle Waifu store is now open for what I call a "Soft Opening". You'll find that the shirts are on sale now.

As long as people can be proud of being anime fans and making positive choices towards their health and well-being- that is the purpose of Muscle Waifu.

--MUSCLE WAIFU PT 2--

No matter what the cause, there is always a driving force, an inspiration, behind it.
--
I've always been fond of superhero shows and anime. Something felt so special about the hero overcoming all the odds to save the day.

But out of all of the heroes, one really set my inspiration into overdrive.
--
That would of course be All Might. His motto, his backstory, everything about how his character was written spoke volumes to me. I wanted to carry his motto of "Go beyond" and apply it to everything in my life.

And now that the Muscle Waifu journey is starting to commence, it is my mission to "Go Beyond" together with others who want to be strong, nerdy and unashamedly so.

So - what exactly is Muscle Waifu?

It is a movement to go beyond - to embrace positive fitness and lifestyle changes with an embracing of the anime and pop culture lifestyle.

As a competitive powerlifter and an anime fan, I've always loved stories with heroes conquering the odds to save the day. I especially love All Might and the ideas of "Going Beyond".
--
So through the promotion of positive lifestyle changes, combined with embracing the otaku lifestyle - that's what Muscle Waifu seeks to achieve. Or "Going Beyond Together".
