Reminder that the 65th Spalding Wool Show is on this Monday night at 7pm in the Spalding Supper Room. All profits go towards keeping the beautiful Spalding Swimming Pool open to our community!

If you’re a farmer please consider donating a fleece to be judged. As well as bragging rights with your mates you could win prizes from Heiniger Barossa and Shear Magic in Jamestown! Plus you get a yummy supper and a good chat!

We welcome our guest speaker Alison Henderson who will be talking about technology in the wool industry, breeding strategies and how to keep the next generation involved going forward.

Fleece drop off at Spalding Supper room on Sunday 18th from 4-6pm or Monday 19th from 8-10am or by arrangement.

What an amazing weekend we have had celebrating Spalding’s 150th!

A huge thank you to everyone who got up early to enjoy a delicious Egg and Bacon Roll and fresh OJ with us in the park. We sold over 100 breakfasts!

A big thank you to Burra Community School for donating our eggs, the Trengove family for the amazing oranges and 1871 for our cups! A special thanks to our committee members who cooked up a storm!

We still have plenty of recipe books for sale for $25 each. Please send us a message if you would like to purchase one! Hint hint Christmas is coming up and they would make a great present!
