The home of the Southport Tigers Rugby League Football Club, the oldest Rugby League Club on the Gold Coast! Junior and Senior clubhouses available for hire.

Training is Tuesday and Thursday nights for Seniors, Women and Juniors. The Southport Tigers Rugby League Football Club encompasses all Rugby League activity in the Southport area. The Senior Rugby League, Junior Rugby League and newly renovated Leagues Club have recently merged under one community focused committee. Currently the Leagues Club operates Tuesday and Thursday evenings serving affordable quality meals and beverages. The Club is also open for Senior home games with full bistro menu and draught b**r being served to match the quality Rugby League. The club has an expansive deck which looks over the Tigers home ground Owen Park, one of the best spots to watch from on the Gold Coast. With an open deck and seating inside the Club is perfect for function and entertainment hire. Fully qualified Chefs can cater to the needs of many and are currently working on a new winter menu and function catering packages. Email enquires are welcome.

Another great piece of Southport Tigers history has surfaced, this time taking us back to around 1997 and one of our senior sides proudly wearing the black and gold.

There are a few faces in this photo that longtime Tigers members will no doubt recognise — and we’d love some help filling in the story behind it.

Southport Tigers are now inviting applications for 𝗖𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻.

Our coaches and managers play a huge role in shaping the experience of our players and helping build the culture of our Club. Whether you have years of experience or you are ready to step up and get involved for the first time, we would love to hear from people who are passionate about rugby league, player development and being part of the Tigers community.

🏆 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗪𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞 𝗧𝗢 𝟮𝟬𝟭𝟬 — 𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗦𝗧 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗗𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗘𝗥𝗦 🐯

A brilliant piece of Tigers history shared with us by one of our Old Boys — the Southport Tigers 2010 First Grade side, who finished the season as both Minor Premiers and Major Premiers.

Sixteen years on, this photo is a reminder of the players, coaches, trainers, volunteers and supporters who have helped build the club we have today.

There are plenty of familiar Tigers faces in this one, including John Flint, Brett Westwood, Stacey Katu, Chris Hodges, Pat Manley, Josh Camilleri, Hemi Boynton, Peter Norman, Steve Farrelly, Slade Ennis, Tu Whakatihi, Chris Thomas and many more who wore the orange and black with pride.

Premierships are remembered forever, but it is the friendships, stories and memories created along the way that really make a footy club.

🏆🐯 SHANE WEBCKE SHIELD WINNERS – U10 BLACK! 🐯🏆

What an incredible achievement for our Southport Tigers U10 Black team, who were awarded the Shane Webcke Shield on Saturday, 5 September at Albany Creek! 🖤🧡

The boys had an outstanding day of rugby league, finishing the tournament undefeated with four wins and one draw. But what makes this achievement even more special is that the Shane Webcke Shield is about so much more than results on the scoreboard.

The Shield recognises the values that make junior rugby league so special — sportsmanship, respect, teamwork and the way players, coaching staff and supporters conduct themselves and represent their club throughout the day.

To be recognised for these qualities is something we are incredibly proud of.

A huge congratulations to every one of our U10 Black players. You represented the Tigers with pride, played some fantastic footy and, most importantly, showed what it means to be a great teammate and a great sport. 🐯

To coaches Jeremy and Alan, congratulations and thank you for the time, effort and guidance you continue to give this group. The way these boys represented themselves is a wonderful reflection of the environment you have helped create within the team.

And to our parents, families and supporters — this achievement belongs to you too. Your encouragement, involvement and the way you supported not only our team but the spirit of the tournament contributed to this recognition.

As a club, we couldn’t be prouder to see our Tigers recognised for the way they carry themselves both on and off the field. Winning games is always exciting, but being recognised for respect, sportsmanship and positive behaviour is something particularly special.

It was an awesome day of junior rugby league, and we are extremely grateful to have been given the opportunity to participate in such a fantastic event.

🐯 SOUTHPORT TIGERS JUNIOR PRESENTATION 2026 🐯

It’s time to celebrate another fantastic season and recognise our amazing players, coaches, managers and volunteers! 🖤🧡

Join us for a great afternoon at the Gold Coast Aqua Park as we bring our Tigers family together to celebrate the 2026 season.

📅 Saturday 19 September
📍 Gold Coast Aqua Park
🐯 U6 – U17

🌊 2PM – 4PM | AQUA PARK
Our Tigers teams will have exclusive use of the Aqua Park for two hours!

🌭 FROM 4PM
After the Aqua Park session, we’ll provide each player with a sausage sizzle, drink and Zooper Dooper, followed by our presentations in the park right next door.

🏆 PRESENTATIONS FROM 4PM
Teams will be presented from youngest to oldest.

Our U6–U12 teams don’t need to hang around after their team presentation, but we kindly ask our competition grades to stay and support each other until our U17s have been presented.

👧👦 SIBLINGS
Siblings are welcome to join in the fun!
• First sibling – $10
• Every sibling after – $5
This includes the 2-hour Aqua Park session, sausage sizzle, drink and Zooper Dooper.

👨‍👩‍👧 PARENTS/GUARDIANS
Any parent or guardian accompanying a child under 10 will not have to pay for Aqua Park access.

While a Grand Final spot wasn’t to be, that result doesn’t take away from what this team has achieved. They’ve worked hard, backed each other and shown real grit along the way.
