Surge Cricket has been in development since 2018, founded on a deep passion for the game and a commitment to quality craftsmanship. As a lifelong cricket enthusiast, I understand how important reliable, well-made equipment is to every player — from aspiring juniors to seasoned professionals. One of my most formative experiences came at the age of 14, when financial constraints made it difficult fo

r me to join a junior cricket team. Thanks to the generosity of a few kind individuals who helped provide the necessary equipment, I was able to take part in the sport I love. I still remember the second-hand gear — worn and in constant need of repair — that accompanied me through those early matches. Maintaining that equipment became part of the game itself, and I took great pride in both using it and restoring it after each session. Before long, I was helping friends and teammates with their bats as well, developing the hands-on skills that would eventually shape Surge Cricket. After completing high school and entering the workforce, I purchased my first new bat in 2000 — a moment that marked a turning point in my cricket journey. Every bat I handle today reminds me of that path and the meaning behind every piece of gear. At Surge Cricket, we strive to offer a welcoming environment where knowledge is shared freely and a genuine love for the game is at the heart of everything we do. 🏏 A huge shout-out to Team Gogi Gladiators and Team Little Boys for dropping by yesterday. It was an absolute pleasure to see you all.

I've known many of you long before Surge Cricket came into existence, so it was great to reconnect, reminisce, and catch up on where cricket has taken each of us.

For those who have been asking, Surge Cricket Club is taking a well-earned rest this season after going back-to-back through both the winter and summer competitions. It's been a big couple of years, and we're proud of everything we've achieved together.

It was also wonderful to see members from PTCC, CVPCC Redbacks, and Perth CC. Seeing so many familiar faces alongside new ones reminded us of what makes the cricket community so special. It was truly a privilege to spend time with you all.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a laugh, told a story, or simply took the time to reconnect. Your support and friendship mean a great deal.

Surge Cricket Club may be taking a break, but we'll be back.

It was amazing to be back out there meeting new faces and watching Jeremy Wallcroft prepare for his upcoming international tours of England and Sri Lanka. 🇦🇺🏏
