The MCC Hockey Section page provides current information about the MCC Hockey Section, one of 13 sporting sections of the Melbourne Cricket Club. MCC Hockey Section is represented at the highest level of club hockey in Melbourne by the Men's and Women's Premier League teams. Teams are also entered in the Hockey Victoria Senior, Masters and Junior competitions, and new players are always welcome. MCC Hockey Section also offer Hookin2Hockey programs for children wishing to start playing hockey from age 4 upwards.

🌟MPL 2026 PREMIERS🌟
Congratulations to our MPL team on their major premiership!! The men have taken out the grand prize after missing out so closely last year!! They defeated KBH 6-3 in a thrilling game with some serious skills on display and some unforgettable goals. A dominant performance all season long and a great way to finish off a fantastic finals weekend for the club!

🌟MPLR 2026 PREMIERS🌟
Congratulations to our MPLR team on their major premiership!! Defeating minor premiers Doncaster in an extremely close match of 1-0 on Saturday evening!

🌟WPC 2026 PREMIERS🌟
After losing to Greensborough in week 1 of finals, the WPC team took the long route to the Grand Final! A closely fought match between the two teams saw the score at 0-0 going into the 3rd Q where the persistence and offensive pressure finally paid off, ultimately winning the game 3-0!

🌟WPDNW 2026 PREMIERS🌟
After a stellar season the WPDNW ladies come home with the major premiership!! A close match against Essendon saw the Dees fighting until the final whistle with a PC flick from Bushy to seal the win 2-1!!!

We’ve got a chockas day on Saturday with teams playing at Waverley, Elgar Park and the SNHC - all a good warm up to the big MPL finale on Sunday afternoon!

🌟GRAND FINAL PARTY🌟
Join us for our last ever social event at the MHS Clubrooms !!! After the grand finals wrap up on Saturday the 12th, head to MHS from 6PM onwards to celebrate a huge season for MCC and some great finals campaigns!

This will be a clear out the MHS kiosk event!!
- $8 carltons and melbournes
- $5 for all other drink types
- pizza will be provided later in the night 🤩

lets finish up this season by bringing some major finals energy, getting everyone together and celebrating ❤️🤍💙

🌟HERE WE GO ONE LAST TIME🌟
Grand Final fixtures are in and we have an unreal line up of games this weekend‼️

Kicking off the weekend with MPA down at HHF at 11AM as they take on Minor Premiers Doncaster in what's set to be a thrilling match 🤩

Following this we have an exciting double header out at Elgar Park starting at 1PM with WPC who are off the back of a great game last weekend taking on Greensborough! And after a well earned week off WPDNW follow straight after facing Essendon 🌟🏑

Wrapping up the Saturday games is our MPLR team out at the State Hockey Centre taking on Minor Premiers, Doncaster !!! 🌟🏑

Then Saturday finishes up at at our beloved MHS Clubrooms 6PM onwards for our GRAND FINAL PARTY (our last social event here 🥺) ! It will be a clear out MHS kiosk event so there will be plenty of great drink specials all night with food and pizzas provided throughout the night !!!

And then to wrap up the weekend we have THE BIG DANCE!!! MPL takes on KBH for a Sunday special - following the match head to the Railway to celebrate an unreal season for our club 🌟🏑💪🏽

Finals week 2 wrap up!!
Huge congratulations to MCC club legend Duncan McLeary on hitting 500 games this weekend, an absolutely phenomenal achievement!! Unfortunately not the result we wanted but what a milestone to finish up a strong season on!!

MPA and WPC didn't take their second shot for granted and both came away with solid wins after some intense matches! 🏑

MPL faced a talented Camberwell but ultimately won 6-2 and booked their spot in the Grand Final next weekend. MPLR had a close match against Waverley but held out to win 2-1 🌟

MPC also faced a tough opponent in Hockey Geelong Sharks but unfortunately went down 0-8.
