Next on the season update is .bryant_ . This guy packs a massive amount into his life and that doesn’t even include his work. Super impressive young athlete with immense talent to burn!

Joe’s first race with nrg lab was Geelong 70.3 where he went 4:29:45 for 13th in his age group. Cairns followed and Joe was comfortable in the top 10 before following a course sign that has been blown around the wrong way. He and a number of others followed the wrong run direction as a result which unfortunately meant a DQ. Still, lots of positives and now it’s onwards and upwards to the World 70.3 Championships!!!!

Time to catch up on some results!
First up the always smiling ! How good is this, taking the ‘W’ at the Australia Day Aquathon in Wollongong. Awesome win from Sammy and nice to climb one step higher than last year. Congratulations champ!

The last couple of months have been huge for . I love that he has me in his corner and I’m always amazed at what he squeezes into his life.

Like many in Melbourne he took part in the Melbourne 70.3 on a day when hectic weather left us with a duathlon. Christian fell just shy of a bike pb for 90km and then push out a 70.3 1/2 Mara pb. Such a shame that the swim didn’t happen. His over all time of 4 hrs 9 min was still super impressive.

To follow that up he pulled of a 1 hr 34 min 1/2 marathon pb at the 2XU wellness run. And then hit Hyrox with his equally impressive wife, , for a 1hr 14 min result.

The guy is an absolute beast! The every man’s triathlete. Some would say the Travis Head of triathlon!! Bloody legend.

Next on the list is ! Not only a super mum but super busy. Kristy jets off all over the country with work which’s makes her ability to slot in training all the more impressive. She’s so dedicated to getting the work done and worked hard to qualify for the World AquaBike champs in Wollongong. Racing alongside Sammy and Maike up there.

Kristy absolutely nailed the race and couldn’t have got any closer to the plan if she tried. On top of that she was also training for the Tour de’cure which is a 4 day fund raising event for cancer. Naturally she nailed those rides as well. Absolute legend!

was also busy representing Australia, up in Wollongong, at the World Camps. After a solid winter of training gains she headed up to take on the AquaBike ( 1.5km swim/40km bike ).

The course ended up being quite twisty and technical but Sammy stuck to the plan and in a competitive field came out 5th in her age group.

Super impressive race and her second consecutive top 10 result at a World Champs!!! Absolute rock star!


Next up is .morgan3, our Hong Kong representative, who raced IM 70.3 Phu Quoc. A tough and extremely hot and humid 70.3....

Next up is .morgan3, our Hong Kong representative, who raced IM 70.3 Phu Quoc. A tough and extremely hot and humid 70.3. One thing for sure Jamie loves to pick these races.

Things were looking great as he was sitting top 5 in his age group until a sketchy section of in-cleaned road. A slashed tyre, sealant everywhere and a 20 min wait on the side of the road for a new tyre and tube, put and end to a top 10 finish.

He’s a bloody hard nut though and managed to get the heart pumping again, finished the ride and pushed through the pea soup conditions to finish 16th in his age group with a 5hr 37min race.

Lesson here is don’t mention the rough spots before the race. Bloody karma. 😜 Anyway, either way you look at it, damn impressive race and resilience!
