Own Venue Training
Long Flat Run 45-100mins easily to time
Swim Option : Swim 35-40mins super easy inc rec kick

MONDAY 8TH JUNE
Meet at Port Melb SLSC at 6:15am for 6:30am start time
Ext Flat Ride 50-90kms in total, inc warmup then Ae.T1 intervals. Finish easily to time. Run 20-30mins OTB with efforts schedule

Join us for Taper paddles on course with 25/26 Vic Coach of the Year Sean Foster, tips on swim course management, pacing and great chance to get comfortable with the Cairns swim.

Then post swim Professional Triathlete Regan Hollioake will be our special guest for breakfast at NuNu, we will chat with her about her career highlights and experiences racing at the elite level all over the world and get her thoughts on how best to tackle the Cairns ironman course.

Coach of the Year
Big congratulations to our Head Coach Sean Foster on winning 2025/26 Coach of the Year at the AusTriathlon Victorian Awards yesterday.

It’s recognition for an outstanding year of coaching results where Fluid athletes once again shone on the World’s stage and at local Tri events, inc. a World title in Wollongong.

It’s a team effort though, with none of this possible without recognizing the rock that is Coach Lyndsey Foster and the Melbourne Triathlon Club who also took a 2nd place in the Club awards.

Congrats to our New Zealand based athlete on a 9min PB 2:22hrs at the Standard distance in Auckland today. It was only MJ’s 4th triathlon ever, so lots of learnings from today.

Jack MCPHEE 5:42:25hrs 129th 30-34M, Had fun, finished. Best result after recent heart issues
Sebastian TEBBE Great Swim, Bike 2:07:30hrs into T2 in front pack. Stomach cramps early run forced him to pull out.
