It’s time to celebrate another fantastic season at Bligh Park Football Club!

We’re bringing our senior players, coaches, managers, committee members and guests together for a night to celebrate the season and recognise the people who make our club what it is.

Each eligible player, coach, manager, sponsor and committee member will receive one complimentary ticket, regardless of how many roles they hold.

Food will be included on the night, with drinks available for purchase at your own cost.

𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 💙

𝘼 𝙢𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙐16 𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝 & 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙧

First of all, we want to acknowledge and thank the BPFC Committee for everything they have done to look after and support the girls throughout the season. We also want to thank all of our families and spectators who have been there supporting us week after week, we appreciate every single one of you.

A huge congratulations to our U16 Girls, 2026 Competition Winners, going undefeated throughout the entire competition season and then finishing it off with a win in the Grand Final. We honestly could not be prouder of what this group has achieved.

Then, just one week later, we were back for the Nepean Cup Grand Final.

We knew from the start that it was going to be tough. With 32 degree heat on a synthetic field, extreme wind conditions and only 11 players, meaning no reserves at all, the girls were always going to be tested.

But they turned up happy, bubbly and ready to take on a challenge they knew was going to be incredibly hard.

They ran their hearts out, never gave up and pushed the opposition right to the very end. The other team kept subbing continuously throughout the game, while our girls didn’t have that luxury. With only 11 players, they had to dig deep, keep going and give absolutely everything they had.

They fought right until the final whistle, with the game finishing in a very close 2-1 loss.

Win or lose, we could not be prouder of their effort. They pushed themselves to their absolute limits, held their heads high and accepted the result with true sportsmanship.

We are also incredibly proud of the way these girls treat each other, both on and off the field, through every win and every loss. That is what sport is really about, sportsmanship, friendship, resilience and being part of a team.

This was their only loss for the entire year, which is an incredible achievement in itself and something they should all be extremely proud of.

There were also some special moments from the Nepean Cup Final, including Piper’s incredible goal, and despite the result, Bligh Park still came away with the Player of the Match game ball, which was awarded to Lexii.

A huge congratulations to Lexii, we are so proud of you. 🥰

Thank you to Penrith Rovers for two very competitive games to finish off the Nepean competition.

And now, our season still isn’t quite over…

Next stop, NSW Champion of Champions. 💙🤍

💙🤍 NEPEAN CUP GRAND FINAL 🤍💙

Yesterday didn’t quite go our way, with our U16 Girls going down 2–1 to Penrith Rovers in the Nepean Cup Grand Final.

The wind was a fierce competitor yesterday, and the weather conditions certainly weren’t ideal, but our girls never stopped fighting. They gave it everything they had right until that final whistle.

A huge congratulations to Penrith Rovers FC on the win - two strong teams, battling it out in some pretty tough conditions.

As disappointed as the girls might be, they should be incredibly proud of themselves. Two Grand Finals in one week. What an achievement. What a season. What a team.

There have been plenty of highs, a few tough moments, and so many memories made along the way. Watching this group grow, compete and back each other has been something pretty special.

A massive thank you to our incredible manager and coach for everything you have poured into this team, and to all of our supporters who came out yesterday and throughout the season. The girls hear you, feel your support and appreciate every single cheer.

And to our amazing sponsors ACCE Bathrooms and Studio 20 - thank you for getting behind our girls and supporting them throughout the season. We truly appreciate it.

The final result might not be the one we wanted, but there is so, so much to be proud of.

Girls, hold your heads high. You’ve given us a season we won’t forget. 💙🤍

⚽️ MAKING HISTORY! ⚽️

A massive shout out to one of our U16 Girls, Taylor, who made a little piece of football history over the weekend! 💙🤍

Taylor was part of the first ever all female referee team to officiate a Waratah Reserves match in NSW, with three female referees taking charge of the match.

What an incredible achievement and another great example of our young women making their mark in football, both as players and officials.

We are so proud to see one of our own involved in such a special milestone. Well done, Taylor! 👏⚽️

🏆💙 GRAND FINAL CHAMPIONS! 💙🏆

Our U16 Girls are 2026 GRAND FINAL WINNERS!

It was a tense and thrilling game from the very first whistle, with both teams creating opportunities throughout the first half, but neither could get the ball across the line.

At half-time, it was still 0–0.

Not long into the second half, BLIGH PARK SCORED FIRST!

But Rovers hit back not long after, finding the equaliser and making it 1–1.

From there, both teams battled it out, with neither side willing to give an inch. The girls showed incredible determination, and the tension continued right through the match.

Then came the moment we were all waiting for…

BLIGH PARK SCORED AGAIN!

That made it 2–1, and the girls dug deep to hold onto their lead until the final whistle!

FULL TIME: BLIGH PARK 2–1 PENRITH ROVERS 🏆💙🤍

What an incredible game from two teams who left absolutely nothing out on the field. It was a fantastic Grand Final and our girls should be so incredibly proud of themselves.

A huge thank you to Penrith Rovers FC for putting up such a fantastic game and being such a fierce competitor. 💙⚽️ Games like today are what make Grand Finals so special.
