South West Rocks Little Athletics

Good Afternoon.

The SWRLAC is no longer affiliated with Athletics NSW due to not being able to form a Committee.

After advertising three times for an AGM only two people attended.

Where do we go from here:

1. We need five people to volunteer to become a committee member

2. We then apply to Athletics NSW to re-affiliate

3. Once our affiliation is accepted, we are then able to operate as a club.

4. Until this happens the SWRLAC will no longer operate as a club.

Personally I think this is very sad not only for the club but for all the kids who enjoy LA's.

SWRLA's AGM has been postponed until June 12th due to extreme weather conditions.

All positions are vacant and we really need people to volunteer to help keep the club functioning.

12th June, 6pm, SWR Country Club.

SWRLA's Club ended their season with Presentation of medals and a BBQ last Thursday. Thanks to George for cooking the BBQ.

Thank you to Mark, Jeannine & parent helpers for organising & running training sessions every Thursday and thank you to all the athletes for coming each week and having a great time.

Thanks also to Coles ( major sponsor of NSWLA's) for donating a box of bananas each week for the athletes.

Our AGM will be held in April 2025, until then Merry Christmas to you all and the very best for 2025.

SWRLA's Club end of Season Presentation.
Thursday December 12th, 4pm.

Sausage BBQ & a poppa drink will be available free for all Registered Athletes.

Sausage BBQ & a poppa drink will also be available for a $1 ea for
others who attend the presentation.

Presentation will take place at 4.30pm followed by the BBQ.
