🏀 COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT 🏀

Basketball Star Academy would like to congratulate two of our head coaches, Daniel Davies and Daniel Sinni, on their VJBL representative coaching appointments for the 2026/27 season.

👏 Daniel Sinni has been appointed U16.1 Boys Head Coach at Craigieburn Eagles, while also overseeing the U16 Boys program.

👏 Daniel Davies has been appointed U14.1 Girls Head Coach at Whittlesea Pacers, while also overseeing the U14 Girls program.

We’re extremely proud to have coaches involved at this level of representative basketball, continuing to develop their coaching while bringing that knowledge and experience back to our Basketball Star Academy athletes.

We wish both Daniel and Daniel all the very best for a successful 2026/27 VJBL season! 🏀⭐

🏀 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – DOMESTIC PLAYERS ACADEMY 🏀

Basketball Star Academy is looking to launch a new development program specifically for domestic players who want to improve their skills, confidence and understanding of the game.

Your child may already have a fantastic volunteer coach who makes training enjoyable—but are they receiving the individual technical feedback and skill development needed to take the next step?

That’s where we can help.

Our experienced coaches will focus on:

🏀 Correct skill techniques and fundamentals
🏀 Individual feedback and development
🏀 Decision-making and gameplay
🏀 Building confidence and preparing players for their next step

We will begin with a FREE trial launch session. Ongoing sessions will be capped to ensure every player receives quality coaching, feedback and attention.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has followed, supported, shared our posts, attended our programs, and been part of the Basketball Star Academy journey.

What started as a passion for helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game continues to grow because of the amazing community around us.

Every player, parent, coach, school, and supporter has played a part in helping us reach this milestone, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

This is just the beginning. We are excited to continue providing quality basketball programs, camps, clinics, and development opportunities for players of all ages and abilities.

Looking for an active, fun and engaging way to keep your child busy these school holidays?

Join Basketball Star Academy’s Holiday Camps, where young athletes will develop their basketball skills, build confidence,and have an absolute blast on the court!

⭐ Holiday Camps (Ages 5-12)
📅 July 1st – Ages 5-7
📅 July 3rd – Ages 8-12
📍 Wirrigirri Primary School, Wollert
⏰ 9:30am – 12:30pm
💲 Only $60 per camp
