What a fantastic start to the sailing season at the Mission Beach Sailing Club! ⛵️☀️

We were treated to perfect weather, beautiful conditions on the water, and a wonderful turnout for our first club day. It was great to see so many boats out enjoying the day and catching up with fellow sailors.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success. We’re looking forward to many more great sailing days ahead!

The Amazons Australia Mission Beach Premier screening of 'The Amazon's Documentary' is on this Thursday 21st May, 5:30pm at the Garage. This is a short film of approx. 20min and will showcase our spectacular backyard.

Mission Beach Sailing Club provide water support for this fantastic 3-day tri-adventure event. We look forward to welcoming the Amazon's women back to Mission Beach again this July.

Our very own local bank has done it again! Supporting our community is what Bendigo Bank do well. And it's thanks to the Bendigo Bank Community Grant, that our Club can now include binoculars and VHF radios in our swag of equipment to increase safety and enhance our on-water surveillance. With our junior fleet expanding, this extra equipment is necessary to keep check on our little tackers. Thanks Bendigo Bank Mission Beach for supporting the next generation of sailors!

Our last MBSC club day for the year is this weekend. All welcome to come and join in.

The weather has been heating up, so we plan to start a little later.

🗓 Date: Saturday 6 th December
🕙 Time: 1pm onwards – 2 pm on the water. Till approx 4pm.

🌤 Weather: we will keep watching the weather. So far 10- 15 knots

Cheese and crackers off the water & De-rig.
- Dinner and Social around 5:30pm - 6pm.
🍽 Dinner- Smoked brisket and slaw burgers $5.

We would like to thank all our club members and volunteers for making this a wonderful year. Looking forward to seeing you on the water ⛵️

There's no substitute for bananas to boost us across the finish line! Congrats to all our junior sailors at this year's Mission Beach Regatta. The biggest fleet of the regatta and boy do they know how to have a great time on and off the water. Thanks to Eco Bananas and Australian Banana Growers Council for their support. Sailors and volunteers received generous donations of red tipped bananas and prizes. What a great bunch of sponsors!
