We are so grateful for all the workplace classes we have led in 2022. With all the changes to peoplesโ€™ schedules of WFH, itโ€™s still special to lead face to face classes and interact more personally with people. This one was recently held for international staff in Melbourne each morning before their workplace training. People from all walks of life came along and experienced better wellbeing and mindfulness to help them focus for the day ahead. According to Psychology Today, saying โ€œnoโ€ is a form of self care, just like saying positive affirmations, and doing creative activities. Feeling confident in saying "no" can help people set clear and consistent boundaries in their relationships.
People can find a way to say "no" that doesnโ€™t leave them feeling guilty such as by sandwiching the refusal between positive comments. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

Happy International Yoga Day!! It was on 11 December 2014, the United Nations proclaimed 21 June as the International Day of Yoga by resolution 69/131.
The International Day of Yoga aims to raise awareness worldwide of the many benefits of practicing yoga.
The draft resolution establishing the International Day of Yoga was proposed by India and endorsed by a record 175 member states. The proposal was first introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address during the opening of the 69th session of the General Assembly, in which he said: โ€œYoga is an invaluable gift from our ancient tradition. Yoga embodies unity of mind and body, thought and action ... a holistic approach [that] is valuable to our health and our well-being. Yoga is not just about exercise; it is a way to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature.โ€ (Un.org) ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ
