Throughout this time, I have remained a dedicated and passionate player, continuing to compete and support the croquet community. Gateball is a fast-paced non-contact team sport similar to croquet played on a 15 m by 20 m court originating in Japan. Two teams of five players. We use mallets to hit numbered balls. There are three gates and the game lasts for 30 minutes. Come and try

Gateball was invented in 1947 in Hokkaido, Japan, by Eiji Suzuki, inspired by European croquet and designed as a post-WWII, low-cost activity for children. It evolved into a popular, strategic team sport for seniors, with a unified, competitive style established in the 1970s and 1980s. Today, it is popular across Asia and Brazil.
