Four Macleay Valley MTB riders competed in 2026 Jacks Ridge Triple X - cross country marathon today,
Kristy Cohen, Sarah Bowen and Caitlin Williams in a team in the 100km event
The Macleay Dirt Girls while didn’t quite make the 100km, making 90km 9 x 10km laps with each rider completing total 30km ride. Sarah competing in her first ever race and doing Macleay club proud!
Owen Reeve-Williams in a team in the 50km event with other shedders from Newcastle, Owen the youngest (8yrs) in a team of four and the only one to complete 2 x 10km laps total of 20km and in doing so putting his mum to shame beating her lap time by close to 10mins “What a Machine”

Four Kempsey’s Macleay Locals compete today at Jacks Ridge MTB Park, in Rnd 3 of the NSW Schools MTB Series
We had some sensational results with
Oaklan Lyttle U9 and Owen Reeve-Williams U11 taking out dual golds in both Cross Country and Fundro, and were join by other local boys Finnly and Hendrix Clay completing for the first time and had some great results!
Also like to shut out to Octavius Roberts U7 from Nambucca who also took out Dual Gold!!
Amazing effort from all the kids today keep it up!! You’re doing the Macleay Proud!
