Over four weeks you'll learn the foundations of yoga in a supportive, small-group environment. No pressure. No complicated jargon, or mystical language. No trying to keep up.

Just practical, down-to-earth teaching that helps you move with confidence, breathe with purpose, and understand your body.

Thinking about stepping into the studio but not sure what to expect? Let’s walk through your very first visit to Citta Flow.

We’ve intentionally designed our space to be welcoming, down-to-earth, and comfortable. Here is everything you need to know before you arrive:

🚗 Parking & Arrival: We recommend arriving about 10 minutes before your class start time. This gives you plenty of time to park, kick off your shoes, pop them in the rack outside the studio, and settle in without feeling rushed.
(over 40 spaces at the back of the studio, access via Stirk St, Or Railway Pde)

📱 Pop your phone on Do Not Disturb and store any belongings safely inside our studio.

🧘 Mats & Props: BYO Mat. We provide all the specialised props (bolsters, blocks, and blankets) you will need for your practice.

👟 What to Wear: Leave the trendy activewear at the door. Wear whatever you can move comfortably in—sweatpants, a loose t-shirt, or layers to keep warm during relaxation.

💬 Your Body Comes First: If you are managing an injury, chronic stiffness, or a flare-up, just let us know before class begins. Every single posture we teach can be adapted to your needs on the day. And that's the beauty of small group classes.

You don't need to be flexible or have prior experience to walk through our doors. You just need to show up as you are.

With plenty of personalised guidance, we'll progress gradually each week, helping you develop a safe, sustainable practice and feel comfortable joining any class on our timetable, or establishing a regular home practice.

Our experienced teachers create a friendly, supportive environment where questions are always encouraged.

BYO Mat, all other equipment is provided—just wear comfortable clothing you can move in.

No previous yoga experience is required. Suitable for beginners and those returning to yoga.

If you’ve been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis, it’s incredibly common to treat your joints like a car tire—assuming they have a finite amount of mileage left and that further use will only "wear them down."

But your joints are living, highly adaptive tissue. They aren't like tires at all.

Modern clinical evidence shows that Osteoarthritis is not simply an "old age wear-and-tear" disease. It is a condition driven by low-level, systemic inflammation where the joint's natural breakdown outpaces its repair.

And the absolute worst thing you can do for it? Total inactivity.

Here is the biological reality: Joint cartilage has no direct blood supply. It is entirely dependent on synovial fluid (the joint’s natural lubricant) for its nutrition, oxygen, and waste removal.

How does that fluid circulate? Through movement.

When you compression-load and unload a joint gently, it acts like a sponge—drawing fresh fluid in and pressing cellular waste out. If you stop moving out of fear, you effectively starve the cartilage, leading to increased stiffness and accelerated breakdown.

Movement isn't just safe for arthritis; it is biologically necessary.

The secret isn’t to stop moving—it’s learning how to move with correct alignment, structural support, and pacing.
