👋 MEET THE TEAM – ZOË EXTON
Some people sit still.
Zoë isn’t one of them.
When she’s not guiding guests through Tasmania’s incredible trail network, you’ll likely find her chasing waves at sunrise, hiking a remote track, swimming in icy water, competing in pickleball tournaments around Tasmania and interstate, or planning her next adventure.
A lifelong learner, educator, linguist and explorer, Zoë has worked both internationally and across Australia, bringing a genuine curiosity about people and places wherever she goes. One of her favourite parts of guiding is hearing the stories that guests bring with them and helping create unforgettable memories during their time in Tasmania.
Zoë has a deep connection with the natural world and an uncanny ability to spot wildlife. Around TASMBA, she’s earned a reputation as our resident “animal whisperer” and is responsible for more platypus sightings than anyone else on the team.
In fact, she may be the only person in the world who can claim that a juvenile platypus once jumped into her lap.
She feels incredibly fortunate to have shared waves with dolphins, explored Tasmania’s wild corners, and now gets to share those experiences with visitors from around the globe.
Whether she’s driving the shuttle, guiding a tour, spotting wildlife, or somehow fitting a surf and a pickleball match into the same day, Zoë brings enthusiasm, warmth and a sense of adventure to everything she does.
