Gday Racefans 🏁

Unfortunately Brandi and I are on the bench for a while due to an accident in the shed.
I’ve done myself a mischief and severed my big toe and broken the remaining toes .
Medical appointment next week will confirm whether they amputate or not .

Special thanks to Firthy, Johnny, Noons, the shed security dude for all their help .

WHAT A WEEKEND LOL (rain man returns🤪)

G’day Racefans 🏁

We headed off to Lismore with overcast conditions chasing us all the way for the Friday practice session and didn’t even get the car off the trailer as the session was called off due to the weather and save chewing up the track for race night.
Great idea, that meant we didn’t have to wash the cars for the fan appreciation day the next morning.
We preceded to set up the Taj Mahal and get reacquainted with fellow competitors, meeting new ones having a few drinks and quite a few laughs. In fact , a lot of laughs and many tall stories from all involved.
Saturday morning started bright and sunny as we set up in town for the fans and was proving to be an excellent day with a great car count of all divisions and equally good crowd numbers coming out to see the cars and a meet n greet.
Back to the track and all prepped to race, we got one heat in where I started from P8 , got the nerves sorted and went and had a play, unfortunately the race was declared a lap short due to a red flag incident where the N91 car had a huge flip and ended in the wall.
Then the heavens opened up and by 7pm the race meeting was declared, good thing I’d already loaded the car and left the gazebo up 😜
Now we look forward to our next race meeting at HESSIONS AUTO PARTS GRAFTON SPEEDWAY on the 25th November.

Yes it’s been a while since the last post, however I can confidently say we’ll be at Castrol Edge Lismore Speedway on the 4th of November.
Not only will we be racing , we’re also participating in a FAN APPRECIATION DAY
From 9-11 am on Saturday 4th November at the JOHN CROWTHER PARK, LISMORE there will be cars on display, giveaways, posters, stickers, autographs and of course a SAUSAGE SIZZLE 😜

Here’s a preview of some of the work that’s occurred in the off season , suffice to say there virtually isn’t a part of this car that hasn’t been pulled apart, serviced, maintained, rebuilt, cut ,grind, welded , modified, painted , polished or wrapped .
Finished product will be unveiled this week.
Let’s just say it’s a new look, with a lot of new parts and very different from last season 😏

Gday Racefans 🏁
On the weekend we stayed at the beautiful Pacific Bay Resort in Coffs Harbour for the NSW V8 Dirt Modified presentation night and AGM .
I was fortunate enough to receive 3rd in the Grafton Track championship for the sportsmans
What can only be described as an up and down season for the team I’m happy to say I was on the podium a few times for which I’m extremely grateful .
I’m also extremely thankful for the assistance I’ve received from quite a few members in the division , namely Firthy, Quirky and RobMac.
Also a huge shout out to my sponsors HESSION AUTO PARTS , GRAFTON CITY BATTERIES, COSMIC SHIRTS & EMBROIDERY and OVERWATCH AUSTRALIA.
Last and not least to my Team , thanks Dad for being there and to my girl Nicky for all that you do at the track and behind the scenes
