New runner Stephen Freer immediately impressed taking out the 300m in a time just short of the venue record. Freer then backed up to press Luke Haines all the way to the line with Haines claiming the 2800m by the narrowest of margins. Haines then saddled up again to win the 600m from Freer with Micheal Parigi just ahead of Darren Riviere in a tight battle for third. Peter Lamb followed and claimed the M75 record

The rain stopped on the dot of 6pm at the start competition making for a relatively pleasant nights running. We kicked off with the 100m claimed by Ryan Cross. Over 3000m it was Michael Parigi crossing the line ahead of Dave Elward. Cross was the stand out in the 5000m. In the 800m it was Parigi proving to quick for Graham Palmer.

Winter announced itself with a cold and strong breeze down the home straight, tonight. Nethertheless, our sprinters still impressed with Russell Middleton first across the line in the opening 100m. Ryan Cross proved the stronger in winning the 2400m from Darren Riviere. Cross made it a double claiming the 1600m from Tina Flatt who posted an impressive time in spite of the tough conditions.

Another nice night for running with Peter lamb again capitalizing, breaking the M75 record for the 200m in the race won by Daimin Mole. Michael Parigi had a close battle with Ray Meesen winning the 3200m narrowly. In the 800m it was again Parigi just holding off a determined Darren Riviere.

In cool and still conditions that were made for great running, Peter Lamb delivered in the opening 300m breaking the M75 record in crossing ahead of Darren Riviere. Tonight we celebrated our 46th anniversary with the running of the Keith Bird mile which honours our first venue manager. In the first heat of the mile, Hamish Renkin set a cracking pace to win the open division with Luke Haines in second claiming the male KB mile trophy. Jo Grimsey ran strongly to claim the female division. In the second heat it was a win to Billie Parigi narrowly from Ray Messon. Lottie Grimsey-Cook impressed with a fast 100m crossing the line ahead of Nathan Hunt. In our final run it was again Hamish Renkin with a tight battle for second with Michael Parigi crossing ahead of Jo Grimsey.

In chilly conditions the running was hot with two records being set in the opening 400m. Russell Middleton claimed the win and the M70 record while Peter Lamb bettered his M75 record. The 3200m saw a very close finish with Craig Renkin surging towards the line, rapidly closing in but it was Graham Palmer who responded and claimed a very narrow win. Hamish Renkin was a standout in the final 1000m winning by a huge margin. We welcomed new runners in Stuart Finlay and Kevin McNulty. Many thanks to Martin and Kath for braving the cold and officiating tonight.

Another fine night for running saw Daimin Mole burst out of the blocks to claim the 100m. Our longer run was split between 2km an 4km with Luke Haines claiming the 2000m from Michael Parigi and Tina Flatt, while over 4000m it was David Upfill narrowly from an in form Craig Renkin. In the last event Hamish Renkin impressed pulling away from Haines in the final lap of the 800m.

In ideal autumnal conditions, Daimin Mole dug deep to hold off a determined Graham Palmer in the opening 200m. In the 2800m Craig Renkin held 10m gap on Michael Parigi for most of the run only for Parigi to close the gap and claim the 2800m. Over the 1500m it was Darren Riviere who held sway over close pressing Graham Palmer to claim the win.
