First round of the Western Australian Off Road Racing Championship championship, the Perenjori 360 completed over the weekend.

FIRST Polaris Inc. SXS for the weekend.

Tough event for us, when all cylinders were firing we were on song. Unfortuantly we had some issue, first real event since finke.

Prologue- blew a primary clutch to peices, destroyed the clutch housing at the same time.

Stage 1 - had fault codes causing limp mode to 5890rpm and running on one cylinder. We ran most of the 70kms in lowrange.. trying to clear fault codes. Stopped 8 times to turn on and off and clear the errors.

Stage 2 - fault free after starts way way back in the pack, but we took it easy to make sure we finished the 145km. Still managed 2 x 55min laps with half throttle and 120km hr Max to protect the "spare" primary clutch. It was respectable and we jumped up the leadeboard. We still had plenty left in the tank.

Stage 3 - this is the heartbreaking one, we started in 14/54, passed 4 cars and was into the top 10. Until the Fuel relay melted. The only option was to swap the Power steering relay so we had fuel pressure. The downside was no powersteering for 120kms and the speed is limited to 96kmhr when EPS code is active.
We lost 8-10 mins fixing the electrical however we still managed a 57min lap at 96kmhr and wrestling the steering wheel. It felt like a fight with a grizzly bear.

Overall 16th and 8th inclass. Not too bad all things considered!

Thanks to everyone, especially navigator Shawn and Bull our cheif pit crew

Upgrade from the 3.15kg Steel Diff bracing plate to a new design 0.95KG Aluminum Plate. 2.2kg Weight saving.. Ironically, that's a 69% weight saving on buggy #669.

Anodized Black before CNC routing, we cant wait for this part to be finished and installed!

Unfortunatly we got a DSQ at Kalgoorlie Desert Race.
No racing for us.

We are extremely grateful for our supporters, pit crew, sponsors and those that help us along the way.

The DSQ is for something that other have been doing and did after our DSQ (no penalty for them), yet we are honest enough to admit as it was an honest mistake and genuinely didn't know we were breaking a rule. A genuine error. We continue to learn.

We will be back next season. Maybe on the east coast. Definitely Tatts Finke Desert Race
