Bunbury Basketball is proud to recognise Georgia Elson for an outstanding 12 months on the whistle.

Georgia continues to elevate her officiating, now selected into two Basketball WA programs:
• Emerging Female Referee Development Program (inaugural)
• WABL Referee Development Program

Her achievements this past year speak for themselves:
• Selected for the inaugural She Hoops Future Leaders Program
• Basketball Australia National U14 Club Championships
• School Sport Australia Championships (QLD) – officiated the U16 Boys Gold Medal Game
• Foot Locker Australian School Championships (QLD) – U20 Men’s Div 2 Bronze Medal Game
• BWA State Titles – U20 Girls Championship Grand Final
• Multiple BWA State Championship Grand Finals
• BWA Country Champs – U15, U16 & U18 Div 1 Boys Grand Finals
• BBA Senior & Junior Grand Finals
• WABL U14 Girls Championship Grand Final

We are blessed with a very talented pool of junior referees that are developed by Evan Mills and the team of Referee Coaches.

🏀 Final Referees
At the start of each night before finals all the officials come together and talk through the expectations and recognition of being grand final referees and gearing up for the games ahead

This flyer also talks about the great recognition being awarded a grand final brings.

Our Grand Final Referees were given an INTERSPORT Bunbury or Last Slice voucher in recognition of their achievements.

Special mention also to our spectators, the respect show to our junior referees has not gone unnoticed and we certainly appreciate your support.

We pride ourselves on the standard of our league and this includes; clubs, players, officials, sponsors, volunteers and supporters.
