MXL Strength Training Process

I have never trained before, why do I need a coach? If you are just starting out with weights and resistance training a coach will help you to get the most out of your training. Lay a solid foundation by learning great technique and good habits from the beginning to get stronger faster and reduce the risk of injury. I have been training for a while, why do I need a coach? You may be thinking this if you have been going to the gym and training for a while now and have been getting good results so far. What happens though if you stop getting the results you want? For many people when they start lifting, they get great results for the first 12 months on a basic linear progression program. Then things begin to plateau, results slow down, and the rewards associated with training fades. Having your training designed according to your conditioning level is crucial once the newbie gains fall off. Others have many years of training experience but may have never learnt proper technique and followed appropriately structured training programs. Results may be mixed, high intensity lifts lead to form breakdown and performance is generally unsatisfactory. Some may want to take the step into competitive powerlifting where they can test their strength on the platform. MXL Strength Training specializes in meet preparation and training to perform lifts in accordance with competition technical standards and referee calls. Whether you are a beginner or experienced lifter, younger or older MXL Strength Training can structure your program to ensure that you do the right type and amount of training to maximise performance, strength and function. Be accountable with your training. Get your program, do the work, video your sets with your phone and send them to the coach every week. This galvanizes your commitment to your training and coach and your coach’s commitment to you. Receive feedback, improve your lifts and get the most out of your training. No cookie cutter programs

There are countless programs you can download online and follow. Unfortunately, they are generic and not customized to your individual requirements. Without a coach you receive no or very limited objective feedback regarding your technique, speed of movement and best progression. You also run the risk of overtraining or undertraining when your programming is not overseen and based upon best practice and performance. Many gyms are open 24/7 but often have no instructors or trainers on the floor. If you want advice with your training you have to book a one on one session and the advice you get may not always be the best. MXL Strength Training provides programming that is designed for you and a way for you to train at any time of day and at a location that suits you while still having access to timely feedback. Whether you train at your home gym or go to a commercial gym all MXL Strength Training programs are designed to accommodate the equipment that is available to you. MXLST Step by Step:
