A fun time was had by all in our 2026 Club Championships. The rain stayed away and we enjoyed near perfect weather for our Friday night singles event. Congratulations to Jack Taylor and Cathy Cooke for winning the Men’s and Women’s Singles Club Championships.
On Saturday morning our juniors fought for the Junior Singles Championship Trophy. Congratulations to all players. Tyler Howard was the eventual winner after three very close, hard fought sets. Tyler is our first Junior Singles Champion for several years and we congratulate him on his win.
Open doubles matches commenced at 11am just as the sun appeared. It was fabulous to see spectators and players having fun both on and off the courts. Congratulations to Theo Jaspers and Simon Crabtree for winning the Men’s Doubles, Belinda Henry and Mary Dow for winning Women’s Doubles and Jo Wilson and Chris Guy for winning the Mixed Doubles.
A big thanks to The Continental Hotel in Sorrento for providing vouchers to be presented to all our winners of open events.
The Club thanks Gary Taylor for his fabulous organization of this event. Thanks also to committee members who catered for the event and kept the sausages and onions cooking for everyone!

The rafle night at Hotel Sorrento scheduled for February 27 has been rescheduled for
Friday March 6 commencing at 5pm

Please come along for a drink and purchase a few rafle tickets to support the Sorrento Tennis Club. You could come home with a fabulous prize!

PTA Members, we’re excited to confirm that our Twilight Round Robin has been rescheduled to 13th & 14th March — and it’s going to be a fantastic weekend of tennis, competition, and great company!

🕖 7:00 PM onwards

We've got a fantastic fundraising opportunity coming up courtesy of Hotel Sorrento!

On Friday, February 6th, at 5:30pm, they're rolling out the raffle night red carpet, and all proceeds benefit our beloved Sorrento Tennis Club. Come join the shenanigans at Hotel Sorrento, grab a drink, and buy some $5 raffle tickets (cash or card, we won't judge) for a shot at some seriously awesome prizes - think meat trays, fruit boxes, or a slab of cold beer. The Monday morning ladies social group enjoyed a fun day on Monday 8th December. A Round Robin was followed by a shared lunch to celebrate another year of great tennis and friendship. Congratulations to Elise for winning the Round Robin. Our Pink Princess looked spectacular in her new outfit 💗 We raised $325 for a local charity 👏👏
