SSCBC and Commodore Scott Llewelyn joins the Victorian and wider Australian sailing community in acknowledging the passing of Ian “Bunny” Warren, who passed away peacefully on 9 June surrounded by family.

Bunny was one of sailing’s most respected coaches and mentors, with a lasting influence from grassroots sailing through to Olympic campaigns. Many SSCBC sailors were fortunate to benefit from his coaching, guidance and encouragement, with a number going on to achieve outstanding success in the sport.

On behalf of SSCBC, we extend our sincere condolences to Bunny’s family, friends, colleagues and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
