Our two-show adventure with Chatto Creek Thomas (imp NZ) has come to an end, and what a great way to introduce this young c**t to the show ring.

Over the week he collected flowers, made plenty of new friends, and most importantly behaved like the kind, genuine horse we know him to be. He was named Champion under 2 of the 3 judges we crossed paths with, which was a lovely reward for all the work that goes into preparing these young horses.

Now he's back where he belongs – out in the paddock, covered in mud, and completely unconcerned about his recent success.

A huge thank you to the organisers, judges, competitors and friends who helped make the week such an enjoyable one. We're excited to watch Thomas continue to grow and develop, but for now he'll enjoy a well-earned break. 💙🐴

Every foaling leaves us with hundred of photos and memories we will never forget.

Even now, we can still describe every foaling in detail. Every foal, every mare, every moment that made our hearts skip a beat. We can still remember the anticipation as we waited for that first breath and the unmistakable high-pitched whinny, followed by the relief of seeing a healthy foal on the ground.

We remember the joy, the excitement, and the tears of happiness. We also remember the heartbreak. The foals that weren't meant to be, the difficult nights, and the moments that tested us more than we'd like to admit. Those memories stay with us too.

Foaling season is made up of sleepless nights, endless cups of tea, neighbours who come to sit and wait for that all-important first suckle while we catch a quick nap, and moments of pure joy that make it all worthwhile.

Each foal has a story, and each one holds a special place in our hearts. And every mare has taught us something along the way.

As we look through these photos, we're reminded just how lucky we are to do what we love.

And in just 60 days, we'll be doing it all over again. ❤️

There are moments (like standing in the work carpark brushing hay out of my hair) that really sum up the life we’ve chosen. It also makes you stop and think about why we do it, and what else we’d really be doing.

Some days it’s hard. The ground is muddy, the list is long, and we wonder if it’s all worth it. We could probably drive nicer cars, take longer holidays, and spend weekends doing anything other than foaling alarms, hay runs, vet bills, and a list of who’s due, who’s quiet, and who is definitely up to something.

But breeding isn’t just what we do, it’s a lifestyle. Early mornings, late nights, dirty boots, and a constant mental list that never really switches off.

Seeing the Clarity Park horses out in the world is the reminder of why we do it. Whether they are in the show ring, trusted allrounders, or simply much-loved companions.

The joy, the growth, the friendships, and the milestones shared with both horses and people make it all worth it.
