As we reflect on Reconciliation Week, we wanted to share some special moments captured at our Joeys home courts, recognising the importance of community inclusion and our ongoing commitment to learning and growing together.

In honour of Reconciliation Round, we handed out scrunchies featuring the hand-painted Indigenous Australian artwork Warlu Jarlji Jukurrpa (Frog Dreaming) by artist Thomas Jangala Rice.

It was wonderful to see both home and away teams come together in the spirit of connection, respect and community.

This Reconciliation Round, we acknowledge and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, their cultures, histories and connection to Country.

As a netball community, we value respect, inclusion and coming together both on and off the court. We are proud to acknowledge the importance of reconciliation and continuing to learn and grow together.
