Wonderful turn out this morning for our first Come & Try Day & we have many registrations resulting from the day 💙💙💙

It was very encouraging seeing all those new to athletics giving it a go and parent participation was great 🙌

Tomorrow is designed specifically for children and families who are new to athletics.

Whether your child is fast, strong, just loves being active or simply wants to try something new — athletics is for ALL abilities and ALL ages! 💪✨

ARRIVE by 8:45am - as you walk through the gates, head to our registration tables near the clubrooms to either have your name marked off or complete a paper registration, a quick explanation of the morning and then we start at 9am❤️

We can’t wait to see you on the track! 💙

After some fabulous results at last weeks Sapsasa State Championship for Track & Field, we'd love to introduce more students to athletics.

Head on out to Munno Para Little Athletics this Sunday from 9am-11:30am for their "come and try" day.

💙 Exciting progress at Munno Para Athletics Centre! 💙

We’re getting excited as we see some fantastic progress happening, thanks to the City of Playford

😎 Two new shot put rings
🚻 A new toilet block — on its way!
🏃‍♀️ A new long jump facility, incorporating both juniors and seniors - almost finished.

We’re looking forward to seeing these works completed and to the future plans for Munno Para Athletics Centre

Growing for Gold is back, giving kids aged 3–16 the chance to get active, try something new and connect with a local sporting club. 🙌

This year's program will be held from 26 September to 11 October 2026.

From cricket to athletics, basketball, taekwondo to boxing and plenty more, there’s something for all interests, abilities and skill levels.

The free come-and-try sessions are held at sporting clubs across Playford and other local council areas in a safe and welcoming environment.

No experience is needed, just a willingness to get involved and have a go! 🌟
