The Little Athletics SA Academy kicks off soon at the SA Athletic Stadium, and online registrations are closing in just one week!

Whether your athlete is a total beginner looking to try track and field for the first time, or a regular Little Athlete wanting specific event coaching to refine their skills, the Academy is the perfect fit.

What the Academy offers:

Athlete Development: A supportive focus on fundamental movement skills.

Event-Specific Coaching: Dedicated coaching in the specific events of your choice (sprints, jumps, or throws).

Fun & Relaxed Environment: A low-pressure space to stay active, build confidence, and improve.

Flexible Packages: Choose between our full 6-week program or a 3-week block.

Academy Training Shirt: Included with registration!

Sports Vouchers: 2026 Sports Vouchers can be applied to this program.

⏱ Time: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM (depending on your athlete's age group).

Committee Vacancy – Secretary Position

At our recent AGM, the position of Secretary remained vacant. This is a vital role that must be filled for Munno Para Athletics Centre to maintain its affiliation and continue operating as a club.

Like all committee positions, this is a volunteer role and you will receive full support from the committee and be assisted in learning the responsibilities of the position.

If you are interested in contributing to our club, or would like more information about the role, please contact us at [email protected].

We would love to hear from anyone who is interested in helping our wonderful club continue to thrive. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the future of Munno Para Athletics Centre.

Cross country comes home to Heathfield this weekend!

We have got a huge meet planned, all hands have been on deck behind the scenes preparing the course (thanks volunteers!), planning the bbq (all your snack and lunch options are covered), securing donations from local businesses for our raffle (check out our previous and upcoming posts for the amazing prizes up for grabs) and of course locking in the essential coffee van!

Don’t be discouraged by the weather, it’s all part of the fun 😉 and being the hills, the weather can change by the second anyway!

We are looking forward to welcoming plenty of athletes and their families this weekend to Heathfield!
