JUVO BOARD and FALL PREVENTION

As someone who has fallen on a run that resulted in a wrist fracture and surgery I know fall prevention is important for individuals at any age. According to the Mayo Clinic falls are the leading cause of injury in older adults. And according to stopfalls.org, more than 40% of people hospitalized from hip fractures do not return home and are not capable of living on their own afterwards. Twenty five percent of people that fall pass away each year.
Physical activity reduces the risk of falls by improving balance, strength, coordination and flexibility.
Performing exercises on the Juvo Board, in both Elevate and Balance, for you and your clients are a great way to help prevent falls.
