Getting a solid 8hrs of quality sleep is ideal in a perfect world
We wake up refreshed and kick-start the day with a great mood
A good nights rest has more benefits towards our health than we know.
However, for some
8hrs of Zzz is luxury and comes once in a blue moon or maybe on a weekend if we're lucky
Why?
Because we continually live in an over-stressed culture that demands a lot from us.
It seems that sleep deprivation is the norm
Continually working crazy hours
Or general life commitments that pull our emotional state in so many directions that it can take its toll
Increase stress-levels and a lack of sleep can cause health problems and also hinder fat loss as well
If we're serious about improving our health and losing the bulge, there are some things about sleep that we must know. It's really that important!

When we don't get enough sleep, our hunger hormones ghrelin and leptin start to kick in, and we're more likely to want these more when we usually wouldn't
Avoiding the doughnuts or sweets becomes impossible because we become impulsive. A strong need for high-carb foods is all we can think about.
