Congratulations to our UniSC student-athletes who proudly represented UniSC Mari at the 2026 UniSport Nationals Swimming Championships in Sydney last week. Competing against some of the strongest university swimming programs in the country, the team delivered an outstanding performance.
 
A special congratulations to Callum Simpson, who returned home with an incredible five medals across the competition 🏅
and to Callum and Sam Turner for breaking multiple UniSport records throughout the event, an exceptional achievement on the national stage.
 
Overall results:
🏊‍♂️ UniSC Men – 7th Overall
🏊 UniSC – 9th Overall
 
We are incredibly proud of the team’s efforts, professionalism, and achievements representing UniSC across the week. 💙💛

UniSC Mari student-athletes have made HISTORY at the annual UniSport 3x3 Nationals last week in Canberra 🏆

For the FIRST time ever, UniSC has claimed the National 3x3 Pennant, earning a spot at the FISU World University Championships later this year (details tbc).

🥇National Pennant Champions - 1st Place (Women Div 1)
🥈 2nd Place (Mixed Wheelchair)
🥉 3rd Place (Women Div 2)
⭐ Women’s MVP - Erin Bollmann 
 
This event also marked the inaugural national wheelchair 3x3 competition, making the moment even more special as our student athletes helped shape history for inclusive team sports on the national stage.
 
This group showed true grit and passion as we continue to build our UniSC Mari culture. The future of UniSC Basketball is LOUD🔊
