~ A mindset refers to whether you believe qualities such as intelligence and talent are fixed or changeable traits. ... Those with a growth mindset, on the other hand, believe that these abilities can be developed and strengthened by way of commitment and hard work.
~ Anybody can turn up to the gym and do their exercises with the wrong mindset and wonder why they aren’t making progress.
~ The world isn’t perfect and of course you are going to have some bad days but it’s about getting past the off days and creating more of the good days, not just in the gym but at home, at work, on the footy field or anything in your life that feels like a set back. Your mind is the most important aspect in your body and the way you control it will determine your outcome of being happy.
~ Why the video? I had one of the worst days I’ve had in months! I slept past my alarm, I forgot my lunch for work , i kicked my toe on the corner of the bench and I even received the email everyone dreads of having to renew their car rego 🤣 Instead of kicking stones and letting all the bad circumstances that happened control the outcome of my day, I went to the gym and smashed out a PB in the gym!
~ If something unfortunate happens during the day or week don’t sit on it and dwell and feel sorry for yourself! Get back up and keeping moving forward.
