Anthony “Ant” Marzato
Owner & Founder – Singleton Tackle & Outdoors
Founder – Sin Tac Tactical

Anthony is the owner and founder of Singleton Tackle & Outdoors and the founder of Sin Tac Tactical, a developing Tactical brand that is transitioning into a dedicated division of the Singleton Tackle & Outdoor

s business. Born in Newcastle, New South Wales, Anthony was raised by two young, highly active outdoor parents. From an early age, outdoor life was not a hobby but a way of life for the Marzato family. Surfing, skateboarding, diving, fishing, hunting, four wheel driving, and hiking were everyday activities and formed the foundation of Anthony’s lifelong skills and experience. Anthony has been fishing virtually since birth, including offshore and external waters. His father, Peter, introduced him early to fishing, hunting, diving, and spearfishing. Fi****ms safety and responsibility were ingrained from childhood — Anthony's Dad Pete got him a 22Lr before he was even Born and received his first brand new firearm at the age of ten a .410 Boito Shotgun. In 2011, Anthony formally entered the tactical industry through Austecc Industries, bringing with him extensive real world outdoor and field experience. This hands on background continues to inform his approach to equipment selection, testing, and customer education. Anthony is also employed as a Firearm Safety Trainer with the Firearm Safety Training Council of Australia, reinforcing his commitment to safety, compliance, and responsible firearm ownership. SINGLETON TACKLE & OUTDOORS

Established: June 2018
Location: 118 John Street, Singleton NSW

Singleton Tackle & Outdoors was established in June 2018 to serve the local and regional community with practical, reliable equipment for fishing, hunting, outdoor recreation, and field use. The business was founded in response to a clear market gap at the time: many outlets were heavily caravan oriented or staffed by personnel who lacked real world experience with the products they sold. Singleton Tackle & Outdoors was built on the principle that customers deserve honest advice from people who actively use the gear not sales people. All customers are welcome, regardless of their knowledge or skill level. A core value of the business is education — customers are taught, not judged. Whether a beginner or an experienced outdoorsperson, each customer receives guidance based on practical application rather than sales pressure. In late 2023 Singleton Tackle & Outdoors relocated to a larger more suitable premises at unit 3/5-13 John Street Singleton NSW 2330 allowing expansion into modification and the Manufacturing of equipment and a training facility currently being fitted out for the 2026 road map

SIN-TAC TACTICAL

Established: July 2023

Sin-Tac Tactical was established in July 2023 following the business’s contribution of prizes and sponsorship support to Australian Defence Force events, including the distinguished Duke of Gloucester Cup (DOG Cup) 2023. Sin-Tac Tactical currently operates as a brand, with a planned transition into a formal division of Singleton Tackle & Outdoors. The brand focuses on tactical, field, and professional grade equipment intended for realistic use cases rather than cosmetic or novelty appeal. The creation of Sin-Tac Tactical reflects increasing engagement with defence aligned, first responder, and professional users, while maintaining accessibility to responsible civilian customers. PRODUCT TESTING AND FIELD VALUATION. A defining feature of the business is its hands on, real world product testing process. Products are field tested by:
Anthony and His eldest Son. Team members Dave, Sean, Spider, and Jax
ADF Personnel and recruits at SOI Singleton and in Battalions of the RAR. Testing includes:
Ammunition evaluation and verification of specifications and accuracy. Field gear and load bearing equipment testing
Extended exposure to harsh conditions (including cold and wet environments)
Heavy pack carries into field locations
Practical durability and reliability assessment

Where appropriate, testing and evaluation are supported by professional level advice from Law Enforcement and Defence personnel, ensuring relevance and operational realism. Products are rigorously filed tested (Abused) by Infantry and support in the field over long durations and harsh environments as well as being abused overseas on deployments. The team know what works and what will not, having torture-tested (Abused) the majority of products under realistic and often harsh conditions. If products fail during testing or are returned due to performance issues, those brands or products are removed from the range and are no longer stocked. Only equipment that meets functional, durability, and reliability expectations is offered to customers. Business Values & Operating Principles
Australian owned and operated
Community focused retail and sponsorship
Education first customer service
Real world, field tested equipment selection
Legal compliance and safety as non negotiables
Respect for responsible hunting, fishing, and firearm culture
Community & Defence Engagement

Singleton Tackle & Outdoors and Sin-Tac Tactical actively support the broader community and service culture through:
Contribution of prizes
Sponsorship of ADF events, including the DOG Cup 2023
Ongoing engagement with defence, law enforcement, and professional users
This engagement reflects the business’s commitment to supporting those who rely on functional, dependable equipment in demanding environments. In addition, Anthony works directly with veterans as part of an informal support network and mentors young Defence recruits, many of whom are away from home for the first time. This mentoring focuses on practical life skills, equipment selection, personal responsibility, and grounded support rather than rank or formality. So GEAR UP with SIN-TAC, GET OUT AND CONQUER.

All I can say is be patient. Be calm when talking to them.
Remember if you pester them they will label you as a 'Fixated Person" and will never get anywhere. A possible visit from locals and the cancellation of your licence.
That is what NSWFAR has told me
