🎉 BIG NEWS FOR COMET BAY BOWLING CLUB! 🎉

The wait is over! Join us as we celebrate the official opening of our brand-new undercover green on Saturday 29 August from 9:00am.

Whether you’re an experienced bowler or have never rolled a bowl before, this is the perfect opportunity to come along, have some fun, and see what our fantastic club is all about.

Major upgrades to our bowling facilities are well under way. We have now reached over 50% of project complete, the roof structure is taking shape

Next up is - The under-roof LED lighting, Stormwater drainage, Rainwater tanks installation, Colorbond fencing, Brick paving to all the perimeters of both greens, New synthetic Ultra Plus synthetic grass green – And other upgrades including new easy to use scoreboards. All being well, and subject to any possible delays including weather, it is expected to have all the upgrades completed by early August

Our club has been able to carry out these major upgrades with the support of the WA Government and it’s PlayOn WA initiative

16 Scroungers winners took to the green today to participate in medieval combat

Making it through to the final round were Baron Christopher O’Donnell, Princess Shona McCraken, Duke Rob Henderson and Duchess Suzanne Aitken….

The ladies came to play, dominating the men over 8 fantastic ends, Shona & Suzanne jousted it out with Shona taking the crown by 1 point over Suzanne. Rob came in third with Chris fourth.

What a fantastic achievement for Comet Bays Julie Agha.

Julie won her quarterfinal match moving through to the semi finals (final 4) after an impressive game, Julie went down 17/11.

Julie finished equal 3rd overall in the 2025-26 Champion of Champions Wonens Novice and we couldn’t be prouder
