Warwick Sailing Club in conjunction with Sandgate Yacht Club will be conducting the annual Frostbite Regatta on the weekend of the 27th/28th June, 2026, on Leslie Dam, Warwick. The final event in the Summer sailing calendar, the Excelsior Cup, is being held this coming Sunday.

The first warning signal is scheduled for 10:00am. Any assistance with setting courses and running the races is always appreciated.

The current weather forecast is for light SE breeze and high chance of showers.

What a fantastic day for the ANZAC Trophy Races! The weather was perfect with a gentle 5-10 kt easterly breeze, flat water, and bright sunny skies. We ran 3 races on a 2-lap windward/leeward course, keeping everyone on their toes.

Thanks to Tom and Graeme on the start boat, and Bill and Chris handling the tow, rescue, and coaching duties — your support made today’s racing smooth and safe. Neil and Darryl on Ffunnily Enuff were unstoppable, taking home 3 wins from 3 starts, but the competition was fierce and close all day.

Now, we gear up for a bit of a breather before the grand finale of the summer season — the Excelsior Cup on May 17. Mark your calendars and get ready for more great racing!

SYC has the ANZAC Trophy race scheduled for this Sunday with a warning signal set for 10:30.

The first day of the Sabre State Championships are locked away. 4 races were run, a mix of windward/leeward and triangle reaching legs.

Well done to the sailors dealing with a choppy seas state and a firm 10-12+ kt breeze.

Day 2 tomorrow, combined with SYC club racing. Similar conditions are expected.

This weekend SYC is hosting the Sabres Qld state championships.

Saturday the Sabres will be sailing and if you are able to assist please let us know. Sunday we will be combining the Sabres racing with our scheduled event, the Bramble Bay Shield. First warning signal for Sunday is scheduled for 11:00.
